Lets all hope and pray so onemore. Im going to have another BT in the morning to see if my levels are raising. I cant stop freaking about M/C. Also i think im freaking out is because of fear of the unknown. This is an IVF baby and everything changes to when you fall pregnant the NORMAL way. I'd be ok if that was the case.

hey Em, I know it must be hard but try and take it easy and stay positive. Are you excited about the thought that the two eggies may have taken ? I think that would be great. If we decide to do IVF later I think I`ll ask them to try for multiple, cause I dont think we will be going back again (providing it works) and I would lve to have twins ( if you can call them that ?)
Do you mind if I ask what the average cost is for IVF ? I know everywhere can be different.
How is everyone else ?

Hi Onemore...We went thru Westmead clinic in Sydney. All we paid was the out of pocket costs. $1450 for the complete cycle. They are a non profit organization. Out of that $1450 i got $889 back from Medicare cause i had reacted my Medicare net cap thingy. I nearly fell over backward cause they told me i would get about $300 or $400 back. This is the only clinic I know of that do this. There rest cost between $5000 and $10,000 from memory. I do know you get most of that back from Medicare.

So Em, you could have twins? How exciting!
Maz, I dont think I am dead anymore, my temp has changed woo hoo, but I still think I need to replace the batteries, as I'm now flatlining at my new temp, aaahahahahah.

Dea, how did you go with getting your chart set up? If you need anymore info just ask, I've been doing it for 3 years now, apart from when I was pg & just after, a l t h o u g h..... I was trying to avoid it with Angel, but ah you know that urge!!!!!

Hey Storm....could be but i dont think so. Levels are to low for two i think. Just waiting on a call from the doc now to let me know what they are today.

Levels have doubled so i feel a little more relaxed now. At 4 weeks they should be between 16 and 160 and mine are 91. They were 49 the other day but i would have only been 3wks 3days

no storm been too busy trying to find a place that sells imported car parts for my car. stupid thing. i will try and do it over the weekend. and i will definatley ask if i need help. thanks. i hope everyone else is well!

dea.....what is wrong with your car and what is it.....we have are going through that atm with our car......em....congrats....lets hope both of those little eggies took hold.....we are still looking at goign through Westmead.....just waiting to decide on our house first....cheers kiya

hi kiya yeah it's a mitsubishi delica. took it to get serviced and he said the turbo is leaking oil the gearbox mounts are cracked so are the engine mounts! we had our alternator replaced the guy lost the nut that come of it and put another on but it's loose. it won't fall out which is good i suppose. this is going to cost us heaps to fix everything.

Grrr imports!! I love the delica though, we were gonna get one of them but decided on the trajet instead. Hope you sort it out soon.

Me- well feeling very tried and sick on and off mostly around lunch time and eating like a horse. 5 weeks today and time seems to be going so SLOW now.

Hi Em, yea I havn`t been on for a few days. Loged on over the weekend and no one had been here so I havn`t been on till today. Sort of sorry that your feeling sick but I guess it would kinda make it real for you wouldn`t it or has the idea sunk in ? Hope your not sick for too long though..

Hi onemore i dont feel pregnant and I'm sure I wont really believe it till I see it on the ultrasound screen.

Oh my god my persian cat went missing 3 weeks ago and we really missed him heaps he was just the coolest cat ever. So i got on the net in search of a new one. We found i nice one in a shelter at Grafton so i had arranged to have him transported here and he arrives in the morning. Sitting in the back lounge room this morning having a coffee and Rob was telling me about his weird dream (which he always has)and we heard this MEOW and it was so loud. Jye said mum mum the cats back. We opened the front door and in came this poor poor cat barely walking. So we fed him and i checked him over and he is just so thin and his back legs just weren't right. So I took him to the vet and his left leg is broken at the knee and his hip is dislocated.So just for today it cost $233 and for his op tomorrow its $1408. Cant put him down cause hes one of the family but $hit vets are highway robbery.
GOODLUCK tomorrow MAZ,I have everything crossed.

Oh Em, that;s great he came back, poor bugger being battered though! So now you have 2 cats, hope they become best of friends. yikes at the vet bill's but I bet he is oh so worth it.

I know I have been very quiet as I have been sick on and off lately. One of the blood test that I had done showed that I am a carrier for the gene that makes the body retain iron and that we will need to go to genetic councilling.

I would like to say congratulations to Emma and I would like to wish Ray all the luck.

Storm I have been to Lightning Ridge about 17 years ago and I quite liked it. From memory there was two supermarket, one bank, a small two room hospital in a demountable and hot spring bath are wonderful and relaxing.

Maz, I also know about your news. I think that you need to come in here and let the rest of us know instead of keeping everyone else is suspense.

I've never been to the ridge so I'm looking forward to it, I honestly hope I do like it. Apparently there is alot more there now, DH said it is bigger than the town we are in now, , fingers crossed I will be happy out there.

hi i had af on the 17th that's when it started. for 5 days. now i went to the loo and i am bleeding it can't be her again! i am freaking out.

hi ladies,
i have some news not allowed to start the injections yet:cry:, because my lining is still to thick. So i'm on some tablets for another 4 days to bring on another bleed then have another ultrasound then hopefully be able to start the injections.
I was upset but i'm not now, hubby and i new this would be my problem.I only bleed for 24 hours so the lining not thinning enough.
I reckon i have about 6 years of build up in me:lol::lol:

OH Dea! Where abouts are you in your cycle? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Hi ladies, hope this finds you all well.
Just wanted to let you know that I have decided not to go with IVF.
DH and I just havn`t been getting along very well since we got the bad news last month, always fighting. So I have thought really hard and decided that I need my husband more than I need another child. We already have 2 beautiful boys and that is more than a lot of people have. Who knows what will happen later down the track, as hard as it is to understand I do believe that every thing happens for a reason and maybe the time just isn`t right for us yet.
I want to thank you all for your help througout this journey and I will pop back in regularly to check up on you all.
