Hi Girls,
Just letting you know that i am about to take Colby up to the Emergency Ward. She just did a poo which was mocous and blood stained. I called 13HEALTH and they said to take her up.
I will keep you all posted.
Fingers crossed i will be back with some good news....
-
Oh gl Sara, hoping Colby is ok
-
Oh Sara i hope she is OK.
-
Hope everything is ok Sara!
-
Hi girls,
Just got back from hospital. Colby is fine. Dr's think it might be a viral infection. We just have to keep a close eye on her.
I can breathe a sigh of relief now!
-
Gr8 news Sara. Hopefully she is on the mend soon.
-
glad she is ok sara
i feel terrible i have no idea what is wrong it might be a trip to the hospital for tonight yet ...
-
-
Oh I hope you are OK Shazz....
-
I hope hubby is waiting on you Shazz.
-
Must be the day for it...
Sara, so glad it's not something terrible.
Shazz really really hope yours isn't either.
Christine how could it be your fault! Can I share my mum? She's not real subtle but she does a good job...
Is it a full moon, cos no-one at work today had had their happy pills - there was yelling and shouting and slamming doors - and that was just the cops.....:dunno:
-
I will add to that Kim. Wade and I are at each other too....... But I am sick and he doesn't understand!
-
Well I'll add you to the crap day list too Sheree...why isn't there a school for them? And they think we nag....:dunno:
Hope you feel better soon too - and that's gross (as Darcy says atm) about the fly!!!
ETA I've got a new machine and overlocker on layby Leanne! I can't wait to start making Darcy some more stuff....then you can teach me to quilt...:D I'm glad you're having a better day.
-
Yep that was one of Wade's words tonight, just wanted to hear you nag again to know you were alive - grrr..... MEN!
-
-
Sara: Glad everything is ok!
Shazz: Hope you're feeling better soon!
Kim: It is the day of crappy days.....Just got off the phone to my mum, she said she had a mammagram and she has breast cancer! Such a shock! She has caught it early so hopefully all is ok.
Sheree: Men have no idea...they have the easy part of pregnancy!
Jayden has this red dot on his nose that has been there for about 2mths, i got the Dr to check it out yesterday and just said its nothing to worry about. When I took Jayden to the MCHN today I got her to look at it as its not normal and she suggested I get a 2nd opinion, it could just be a burst blood vessel but she said it may not be either, so I will keep an eye on it and book him in to a better Dr.
Anyway I better get to bed....too late for me!
-
Far out Tania. I am thinking of your mum.
Kim - I am sooo jealous about the new machine / overlocker. I am getting addicted to sewing.!
Sara / Shazz / Sheree - hope you are all okay and feeling better soon. :hugs:
Don't get me started on the men conversation.... !
-
To add to the feeling cr@p yesterday my friend smsed me to say that they have found a bit more brain tumour on Lauren's brain stem and it is inoperable so they are talking radiation/chemo. Its so awful cause we were all so excited that it was fine and thought it was over and now this.
We lost the house cause of finance hassles cause i am not full time until next year. Daniel now says thats it we're renting forever he's not buying a house now (typical of his over reacting tanties)
Tania- so sorry about your mum, at least breast cancer is very curable these days if caught early.
Hello to everyone else I have to go cause I am late for work!!!
BTW I would love to share your mum Kim!!
-
Gosh Tania your mum - I sooo hope all is ok. And Jayden with his nose.
Christine - that is terrible, why do such things have to happen to little kids. It is not fair! Bugger about the finance. You can add to the "god dam men" category too! They are right royal pain in the *@#* sometimes hey!
We are about to go to swimming lessons and I hate them as Lachlan screams the whole time...... And it rained last night, so the water is going to be COLD! Wish me luck. We might wash our new car after that as our house cleaner will be here then.
-
Tania, I'm so sorry to hear about your mum.
-
Tania i'm very sorry to hear that about your mum to my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
Kim Hey hows things in your neck of the woods
Sheree ~ lucky you having a cleaner come when i gave up full time work DH said i wasn't allowed to keep mine Mwahh ( sook aren't I )
Christine ~ i just wanted to give you and extra big squesshy hug you sound like you need one i'm sorry the house fell through
-
Shazz - if I had time to do it myself I would, I get alot of satisfaction out of it. I only get her to do bathroom/toilet and floors, just something my schedule does not allow me to fit in.
-
oh i still envy you i'm sitting here sick as a dog with the most disgusting house i thinki t is actually making me feel sicker not being able to clean it
-
oh i forgot to tell you i sold $900 in sales for recorder breaker week for tupperware so yay me
-
That's fantastic!!! What sort of sick?
-
Shazz - maybe you will have to buy a Newsagency - only reason I got one, never had one b4.
-
i don't know what is wrong with me i have a had a ripper of a head ache i thought yesterday it was the start of a migraine but nope started with a sore throat and achey legs , pains in the chest and kidneys swollen glands very very tired
nope sheree i don't think i could get up that early when i go to uni full time i'm getting a cleaner saves on the arguments
-
sheree - eeew at the m/s you poor thing, and GRRRR at men sometimes! These are the foods that Definately seem to make Archie's reflux worse
Citrus fruits and juice
green apples
bananas
pineapple
tomato
kiwi fruit
chocolate
cheese
vegemite
thatas it so far, will hopefully see at dietician soon and probably find more foods to avoid! has lachlan seena dietician? have you ever eliminated certain foods from his diet? As you know this could well just be a 'good' phase of reflux and a coincidence, but he had a few of these foods sat night and that night and the next day his reflux was worse. hope Lachlan enjoyed the swimming lesson, you are much more persistant with it than me, i would have thrown in the towel ages ago!
sara - so glad that Colby is okay, i hope she feels better quickly, must have been so stressful for you!
shazz - big hugs, hope you dont end up at hospital. well done on the Tupperware sales, thats awesome! What prizes do you get?
tania - hopefully jaydens nose thing is just a common little thing that isn't a worry, i guess getting a second opinion will at least put your mind at ease. Big hugs for you and your mum x
christine - thats terrible news for your poor friends, just when they thought she was okay. bummer about the finance falling through, know all about that! Im sure DH will get over it eventually.
Well Archie likes his brand new big boy bed, he seems to sleep better in it too (or it could quite possibly be a fluke!), he looks so cute in it! I have been constantly spending money the last 2 days which i dont normally ever do, now im sorta regretting it cause there is less than $100 left in the account and there are a few bills i planned to pay that will have to wait ANOTHER week.....feeling like a real d!ckhead! i keep telling myself that once xmas is over i WILL get the bills all cleared, i just hate having them hanging over my head all the time (shoulda thought of that before i went on a shopping spree). i have been buying things for the new dog which we get on saturday (kennel, inside bed, brush, collar, led, food) plus stuff for Archie's bed (sheets, pillow) plus stuff for Jay's dress up xmas work party on sat night. Thank goodness for the fortnightly centrelink payment thats all i can say! Think we'll be having snags and mince this week.
-
Yucko, hope there's some improvement hun.
Christine, how's Lauren's family?
Is she at the kid's hospital?
-
They are seeing the specialist to decide between chemo and radiation therapy so she is still at home ATM. She feels fine which makes it even harder to deal with.
-
Shazz hope you find out what is making you feel so cra p p y and you feel better soon.
I could never say I enjoy cleaning...... !
Christine. Thinking of you and Lauren's family. being sick sucks.
Elissa that list of foods seem interesting. Hope the dietician can help you and find some answers for Archie. Way to go in the big bed Archie!
hmm,, who else?
Kim. you coming down soon yay!
Sara. how's the girls. Hope Briely's eye is clearing up well after the op.
Well my little Katy is officially a cheeky terror. She now says please, which sounds like eeeease. It's so funny, she thinks if she says please she can have WHATEVER she wants. and when she doesn't it's o o ooooh for no and she shakes her head the whole time... love her so much.
Anywasys I am stuffed and off to work tomorrow, so nite nite
-
leanne - yep katy sounds adorable, its so cute now that they are able to express themselves through language, their little voices are the cutest. you sounds more upbeat today which is fantastic, are you feeling a bit happier?
Archie had his needle on Wednesday morning, he was too strong for me and ripped his arm away so he ended up having to have two jabs, poor boy. he didn't cry much but he was really angry at us for half an hour! Everytime we looked at him or talked to him he would yell and tell us to GO AWAAAAAY! he hasn't had any reaction to the needle though, no lump or anything.
Mum just called to say that my Uncle is Critically ill in hospital right now. A valve in his heart split, he was on a bypass machine for many hours today and is currently in theatre, he only has a 50/50 chance of making it through, it comes as a real shock to us all, why does it always happen to the 'good ones'? thinking positively for the moment, their family have had ALOT of tradegy and illness this past year, hoping thier luck will change tonight.
-
That's terrible Elissa.
Darcy's temp's back up to 39.3....:( She was fine during the week. Just don't know. Going to the doc isn't an option out here because there are so few GP and none accept new patients becasue they are so full. There aren't any medical centres either. Just have to manage it I guess....
-
Oh I wish I could show someone the gorgeous pigtails Darcy has kept in all afternoon. She just looks so darned cute!
-
bugger Kim surely one of the Gp would take her i know here they will never refuse a child ever hope she feel better soon
well i apparently have a virus that lasts about 3 weeks yay not so anti biotics and brufen for the joint pain
-
kim - how strange that her temp has jumped up again? Hope it doesn't get any higher, her little body must be trying to fight of some sort of nasty. i wish i could see her pigtails, i can't believe she has enough hair for pigtails already!
shazz - oooo yuck, you poor thing, i hope the antibiotics help get rid of it quicker, sounds awful.
We got a phone call at 1am this morning to say that my uncle had made it out of 'ground breaking' surgery, he is still critical and certainly not out of the woods yet, but so far so good, thank goodness.
Archie is being so god in his new bed, he is going to sleep so well in it and not waking during the night, hoping its not just a fluke, probably is though, he is just lulling me into a false sense of security LOL. he has been a complete angel all day today, constant smiles and kisses, this is what parenthood is supposed to be like! he is going to my mums tomorrow lunch time and staying there the night. We are picking up our new dog tomorrow, then we have Jay's work party at tea time, looking forward to the yummy food!
-
glad your uncle came outof surgery ok i'll keep him and your family in my thoughts
-
Great news ELissa! isn't Archie being fatastic in the bed? Good for him!!! What's your pup's name going tobe?
Yuck Shazz.....stupid bit is she doesn't seem really unwell. He resp rate is pretty high for her - and she sat and watched telly all arfternoon (not like her at all) but then was happy to play with my friend's kids at the carnival this arvie....
Oh woohoo here's my exciting Friday night. Won a ham at the carnival and then mopped the floors lol. I'm so exciting.
