I'm getting good at this first thing  So me first nahnahnahnah!!!
Will catch up soon I promise, just so bloody busy!!!!
-
Good on ya Sarah, pop your head in long enough to claim first :p
Lulu, I think Angus might be amongst the youngest, he is the 25th May. I think Blakey and Mason are the eldest. Then again I am having many blonde days lately - who knows!!!
-
Mason is 15th April, and Blake is 21st April. i think Izzy is in between then?
-
KK is a great idea! Ellie and I are in for sure :D Great idea Tan!
Although I'm still in denial that my baby girl will be one soon
-
You may be having blonde moments Shell but I'm having preg head moments!! If I looked at your ticker I'd see Angus was one of the youngest!!
Izzy is 2 May so she's third at least. And I think Olivia is maybe next?
-
Ethyn's one of the youngest, he's 30 May. We got a couple of early June as well I think
-
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!
The easter bunny brought way tooooo much choccies here!!! So much for that diet!
Still no AF, think I will get test Tues if it hasn't arrived by then! Anyway, better go get Angus's dinner ready! Hope everyone has had a great day!!!!
-
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!! Hope all your little ones had a great day and easter bunny was really generous. Livvy had an easter egg hunt and it was so cute. She refused to let go of the first egg she found so I had to do the rest. Great start to the day. Good luck with testing on Tuesday Shell. Hope you get the result you want!
We'll be in on KK. Olivia is the 9th May.
Catch up soon everyone. Just finished work and start again at 7am so I'm off to bed. I'm buggered.
Have a great night everyone.
Luv Dan & Olivia
-
Ooooh Shell. Have you reached that "I don't know what I want the test to say" stage yet??? I really hope it comes up whichever way is best for you. Geez, you've got better self control than me though - I'd have tested AGES ago!!
-
Hi everyone!!! Happy Easter!!! Juz and I just got back from Toolondo with his parents at their shack which was great fun, it was nice to get away for a few days considering I have to work f/t over the next 2 weeks to cover someones shifts.
Not too much going on here, may not be able to participate in the KK because I leave for Canada in the first 2 weeks of May, if it happens before then, let me know and I will be up for it. Noah has had his 2 bottom teeth for a while now but now the top right front one is on its way and sleep is going nasty as a result. I hope it doesn't take too long to come through, the bottom ones took a week :S
It sounds like all of our little ones are growing up well and the 1st birthdays are just around the corner. Sometimes it only feels like about a month since my waters broke and I was on the way to the hospital to meet my little man and now he chats away and crawls around the house at full speed destroying everything he comes in contact with.
Sorry for the lack of personals, I have so much washing to do and I want to have the house spotless before tomorrow so my workload is less during the week, nothing worse than working and coming home to a pig sty!!! I just filled 5 rubbish bags for the op shop out of my closet and now to sort through the nasty pile of papers starting to fall out of my mess cupboard
Hope everyone had a great easter and I will try to catch up when I get a chance!!!
-
Ha! Lulu, I know the suspense is killing me, but I think AF is on the way cause I feel a bit crampy and yuck - so may not need to worry anyway :-( I was actually anxious about it being + but secretly hoping it would be!! Will see what happens I spose!! Anyway I have to puit the kiddies to bed, will try to get back and catch up a bit!
-
Oohhhh Shell - good luck today hun! Let us know how you go!
Sarah - I forgot about you going to Canada, maybe we can try to organise it early enough that you could be in it?? It would just mean you and your partner would have to be super organised I guess!! Let me know what you think!
Wow it's great getting the dates up I might actually start a list just to see how we go!
Mason (Mabello) 15th April

Let me know if I have missed anyone obvious!! More than likely- blame the baby brain!!
Also people highlighted have told me they are interested! People not highlighted you may have told in me in the last thread but Im too lazy to go back so maybe PM me or just post in this thread!!
I checked the Baby Birthdays June list and couldn't see anyone I recognised from in here so I'm not sure if they aren't on there or if I'm just blind. Feel free to check it and let me know!
Wow- there were lots born in May too - I didn't realise! I guess I was too busy crying when all you ladies from May 1-16 were having your babies and I was left behind!!! :cryinglaugh: JK!
Catch you all soon lovelies!
-
Shell - please go do a pg test NOW and let me know lol! Suspense is killing me, ha ha ok sorry I'm not the most patient person.
Tan you are such a superstar putting that list together! OMG there are more of us than I thought!
Hope everyone had a lovely easter, ok how much choccie did we all eat? I was a very good girl and barely had any, unlike last year where I was hugely pg and scoffed every easter egg and hot cross bun in sight lol! Sorry for the quick post, have to go and get some work done.
Catch up with you all soon!
-
Sorry guys :bfn: here.. (Lis you can go back and get some work done now!!!!) Thought I would let you know!!! Caused a bit of excitement around here for a bit!!!! Oh well, I really want another, but not so soon anyway!! I am still a bit disappointed though! Better let DH know, he was so worried!! His thinking was omg we need to get a new car etc etc!!!
Good list there Tan!! I am impressed!!! I am excited about shopping for someone elses little one!! Will be great sharing the excitment of 1st birthdays with all you guys!!!
-
Hey Tan
I'm interested in doing the birthday KK
Chat soon to everyone
-
Oh sorry Shell. Still, good news is that you can have a bit more time to enjoy Angus before having to take on another little poppet and who knows, maybe you'll even get some time to yourself in there!
-
Aw Shell - hope you are ok hun...even though it was unexpected you still have that tiny bit of hope sometimes....
Ive updated the list now - so Im just waiting to see if Ash would like to join in, if anyone has contact with her could you check please! I know she hasn't been around here for a while. As for the ones that haven't been on for ages, I think I will finalise the names etc by the 4th April- how does that sound? That will give us all enough time won't it?????
Ok Im off - I have my NT scan today - wish me luck, Im so d!mn nervous it is ridiculous really.
Will let you all know how we go.
-
Good Luck tan for today! Fingers crossed all is great and you see your little bubba dancing away!!! I think 4th April is fair, that is still a week so sounds good!
Yeah, I was nervous but hopeful that I would geta bfp. Oh well, we wern't really ready for another but would have been nice!!! BBL to see how you went!!
And yes Lulu, Angus is still such a little bubba I think It will be nice to keep hium my baby for a little bit longer!!
-
Shell I'm sorry hun, I was secretly hoping for bfp for you too! But Lulu is 100% right lol! A new addition to your family will happen when the time is right!
Tan best of luck today hun, can't wait to hear all about it. OMG I can't believe you are 12 weeks already, where does the time go!!! I'll send Ash a txt if you like and ask her if she is interested in kk????
Anyway better get back to work, ciao yummy mummies!
-
Shell - I know that feeling of secretly wanting a positive. Bit of a difference in timing now, but when I did my test I sat there waiting the 2 minutes or whatever hinking I'd be a bit disappointed if it wasn't positive because I really didn't think I could possibly be pregnant so soon. I can honestly say when it came up positive the first thing I did was say a naughty word and then burst into tears - not much happiness after all! So much for statistics hey - I'm nearly 38 and DH 37 so fertility should be a serious issue, we DTD TWICE!!!, I was still full time breastfeeding/expressing and STILL I fell pregnant. I know I should be so grateful to be having another baby given I've had 3 losses but I still can't hang on to the fleeting feelings of excitement I'm occasionally getting about Ned. I just want more time with Izzy and to be honest, I want something of a life for myself. I'm more than a little scared that once Ned is born I won't get any time for myself at all. I've also been pregnant for 20 of the last 24 months and I'm so over it - I want my body back and I want to feel comfortable and wear normal clothes, eat a cold ham and brie sandwich and God forbid have half a glass of wine!!
Tan - first things first, ignore everything I've said to Shell!!!! Good luck with your scan today. Can't wait to hear back from you that everything is perfect and your bubby is growing beautifully.
-
No probs Lulu! ;) Heehee I understand hun - I laughed for 30 mins when we found out then promptly cried because I wasn't ready and wanted my body to myself for a while etc... But I have to say after see our little gumnut during the scan today I got really excited and it made it more real!
So the u/s went GREAT! My risk for ds is very low and he is really happy with how bubby is growing - it was so cute waving its arms and legs around, I had a little cry on the table and my sister is like - wow you get really stressed don't you and Im like - YEP!!!! Stress head me - always thinks the worse! Heartbeat was 167 bpm and is currently measuring 6.05cm :) So crusing along nicely! I feel like I can finally get a bit excited and be really happy but I'm sure that will come even moreso from about 14 weeks I think!!
Thanks everyone for all your support too! Crazy pregnancy hormones!
-
Oh my god... blake just deleted my mammoth post waaaaa!
I'm in for the KK thing for sure, we should do it like SS and put our likes, dislikes, clothes size etc....just a thought.
Blake is running around now, alot of mum's in public ask if he's 18 months old due to hiz size and physical ability...but I'm worried about his speech. He says plenty of syllabals(sp) but he only uses mum and dad in the right context (haha to his father cos he calls Dave dad too). Will check with gp at his 12 month appointment in a couple of weeks.
I got a job and I start Monday-25 hours a week at a real estate; should be good for my sanity and hip pocket. Blake will be going to FDC which is good for him, he loves all other kids and is so tired when there are 2 or more to keep him busy.
Scott has thrown our 50/50 agreement out the window, and now only wants him 1 night a week, fkn typical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's all so very nasty again now, one minute we're cruising, the next he is threatening me and telling me I'm a terrible mother and all sorts.
Blake is waking once a night most nights now which is good, and has a 9am and 2pm nap during the day for a total of 2-3 hours, so we're finally getting a routine set up. He feeds himself a bottle to sleep, or he cries for a few minuts before nodding off. CC is the best thing that's happened to us to be honest with you. I wouldn't reccommend it if you're not comfortable with your baby crying but it truly worked for us and I can't sing it's praises enough. He is a much less whingy baby whilst awake too which is seriously done wonders for my demeanour!
Right well we're off, we're having a sleep over at Grammy's tonight (off for my intake appointment for mediation re custody tomorrow and I'm having mum as my back up/support).
I hope all is well and I can't believe how quickly this year has flown!
Much love and hugs to you all (by the way I MISS YOU GUYS TERRIBLY!)
Ash and Flakey xoxo
-
Ash - I really wouldn't worry about Blake not really talking properly yet. Izzy isn't talking at all - making lots of sounds but no real words. I spoke to by the MCHN and my GP about it and both said its pretty common for babies to develop either physically or speech wise at this point - both Blake and Izzy are walking so they're pretty obviously gone down the physical side. Poo about Scott being a wally - makes an unpleasant situation even worse. Hope you get it sorted out soon. Yay for better sleep though - you must feel like a new woman.
YAYYYYYYYY Tan. Now you can relax a bit and enjoy your growing bump. I'm like you - tend to have a bit of a sook when everything's ok in the scan. Such great news for you. YAYYYYYY
-
Yay Tan, glad to hear your little gumnut is happy and healthy! I remember also having a teary at my 12 week scan, so you're not the only one. Ok its time for you to relax now and get really excited, ha ha and I don't want to hear otherwise ok?? ;) Do you have a baby bump yet????
Ash congrats on the job, I hope you enjoy it and sounds like Blakey will have a great time at FDC. Sorry Scott is being such a twat, seems he should just make up his mind how much he wants to see his son and stick to it. I hope that the nastiness stops soon......:hugs:
Lulu so is Izzy walking on her own now? I have visions of a beautiful heavily pg woman chasing around a teeny tiny tot all day, he he he sorry you probably don't find that amusing at all. Feel free to cyber slap me.
So is everyone planning first birthday parties?? We have quite a large family and so were thinking about a bbq in a park except it may be cold and raining in May. Not sure what to do yet, our house is way too small to fit everybody in. Oh well, will keep thinking!
Gotta go, have a lovely day everybody!!!
-
Sangie - We are doing exactly that for Livvy's 1st birthday. A BBQ in a park regardless because our house is going to be packed up because we are moving 6 days later so this place is going to be filled with boxes. Just got to cross everything that it doesn't rain. If it rains we will probably end up at Hungry Jacks or something classy like that. Isn't it funny, I was only thinking about Livvy's invitations this morning. Can't decide if I want to buy them premade or make them myself. Decisions, decisions.
Tan - on gumnut bouncing around. I did cry during the ultrasound but I broke down in the carpark because I just couldn't believe we were actually having a baby. Should have seen the looks I got, LOL. How is that gorgeous girl of your? Walking yet? And how you coping at work?
Ash - YAY on Blakey walking!! Sorry you are having such a hard time with your ex. He is just being a twat!!! But YAY on your job. You will love it. It is so nice to do adult thing again and adult conversation is great. You also learn to appreciate the time you have with our babies. I hear you on controlled sleeping/comforting. It was so hard the first few days that it nearly broke my heart and I cried as much or more than she did but like you for us it was a god send and saved us. We used it as our last restort but now Olivia is a completely different baby and it's just fantastic for us. If she is sick or has a few bad nights it only takes one sleep where we use controlled comforting and she is back in her routine. We will do it with our next baby if we need to without hesitation.
Shell - Sorry about your BFN. It is so hard not knowing what result you want. Are you going to talk to your DH about TTC or is he happy with your family as it is now?
Lulu - How exciting that Izzy is walking. At least she is going to be mobile before Ned is born. Trust Olivia to be different. She isn't 'talking' but happily babbles away all day and is walking with her walker and happily crawling. So she decided to do them both equally. What did you end up deciding with your pram? Got a name for Ned yet? I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy has gone (well for me anyway, LOL!). We will be reading your birth announcement before long. I'm a little jealous you get another baby. It's easy for me to say that because I'm not heavily pregnant chasing around an 11 month old and feeling like crap and over being pg. Actually now i'm sending you heaps of hugs. Hang in there gorgeous. I'm incredibly clucky at the moment.
Danni - How's the packing going? Not long to go now. How is that little man of yours travelling? Is he sleeping for you guys yet?
Olivia is cutting laps all day everyday around the house with her ride to stride walker. Her balance and walking is developing everyday. I don't think she will be crawling still at her 1st birthday. Apart from that nothing really exciting going on here. Just working and playing with an occasional moment of packing. We are off shopping today because it is absolutely freezing here and Olivia has no winter clothes. Poor little munchkin has three layers on trying to keep her warm. She looks like the michlin (sp?) man. It's such a shame I have go shopping .
Anyway better go and get organised so we can head off when Livvy gets up. Have a great day one and all.
Love Dan & Livvy.
-
Lulu-Oh that's a relief to know Iz is still just babbling, Mason talked to me on the phone the other day and said hello! I feel so much better with Blake's sleeping, but waddaya know, he woke at 10 and 2:40 last night, Blah!!
Lis-Yep I'm thinking of having it at a park for Blakey's birthday too - I need to get my butt into gear as it's less than 4 weeks away now ahhh! I'm worried about rain but there are a few gazebos at the park I'm thinking of so it should be ok either way. Less cleaning up I figure, too.
Dan-Yep I appreciate anytime with Blake anyway at the moment as it's been so up and down with custody, I'll explain that in a sec. I'm so happy with the way Blake has become after we've implemented routine, I really do think they thrive on it. I was all for "do what baby says" but there has to be a time when putting your foot down is beneficial. Have a great day shopping!!!
Tan-Yay gumnut is growing beautifully, I'm so happy for you! Hopefully the pregnancy is treating you well! Did you ask to see if they coud have a sneak at the gender? Based on heartrate I'm guessing another pink princess at this stage (that being said Blake's was never under 140bpm so it's based on absolutely nothing really lol).
Well I guess it's time for me to do a proper update, there have been a few things I haven't told you yet.
Well, I had a chemical pregnancy a few weeks back. It really knocked me around, but I know it was for the best in the long run. Neither I nor Dave are ready for more kids (if ever), but a loss is still a loss either way. My bleeding and clotting was so full on I had to go on a massive dose of hormones, but it's all starting to settle down now.
Custody...well, Scott actually took Blake away from me for 11 days without letting me see him, and he legally can do that for 3 months straight before any intervention from police. He was saying he was going to take Blake 100% of the time and that he would fight me till the death if need be for me to not even have visitation. He is so irrational and all over the shop I have no idea how he thinks a judge would even agree that that's in the best interest for the child - he's gone nuts I swear it. All this and the chemical all happened at the same time, so I was a right mess for a couple of weeks. Now he has completely flipped and only wants him on a Saturday night...what the? Where is the reasoning?? I'm going to apply to the court and get preceedings underway, I've applied for Legal Aid, but it's up to me to lodge the appropriate paperwork and write up and affidavit; alot of work to do and it might get thrown out because we haven't had official mediation (which is in the works as I previously mentioned) and it's probably not classed as urgent. It's all such a big job and I don't want Blake to have to go through it, let alone the stress it puts on myself too. Has to be done though, Scott can't be amicable about it and I'm done having screaming matches with him on the phone. Oh, and here's a corker, he is accusing me of taking and distributing drugs, and thinks Dave is doing the same. HA, is he kidding me? With his irrational behaviour, I think it's the pot calling the kettle black...
Ok sorry for my rambling, I'm off to buy some new threads for my job, yay any excuse for shopping (and it's rainy, so perfect!!!).
-
Ash - that's terrible how Scott is behaving. I think I'd rip Rein's throat out if he tried to keep Izzy away from me. Good luck getting it all formalised - at least if you've got a court order you can get the police involved if you need to, not that that is ever the way you want to go. I'm really so sorry about the pregnancy - never good but timing makes these things so much harder. And you're right, it doesn't matter how early it is or how much it may be "for the best", they still hit you hard. I hope you're feeling a bit better and Dave is being lovely and supportive. You poor love. Hopefully your life will settle down very soon.
Dan - that sounds like a great idea for Livvy's birthday. I'm determined to have a party for Izzy on her birthday, but obviously Ned could throw that plan out the window!! My Mum has said she will make Izzy's cake if I end up "indisposed" and even if I have to have her party in the hospital, she is going to have it on her birthday! I'm so annoyed with all the people who keep saying to me that I shouldn't bother, she'll never know etc. I'll know, and I don't want in years to come to be telling my beautiful girl that we were just too busy to honour her important day! I am soooo jealous of your cold weather. We had a bit of a cooler patch but its now back up to mid 30s again. There goes the electricity bill . . . Have a great time shopping - I can't wait until its cool enough for Iz to start wearing her new winter wardrobe!
Lis - yep, she's off and running (almost does run when she's still furniture cruising). I watched her the other day stand up while holding a giraffe in one hand and a clown in the other, walk about 2 metres across the room, bash the giraffe and clown together, turn around and then sit herself down. Amazing. Its all just happened so quickly. I think a birthday party in the park for Elena's birthday sounds lovely, especially if you have a big family. Crazy to try and cram everyone in at home, especially if you get lucky with a lovely day. Been meaning to ask you - do you pronouce Elena's name "Elayna" or "Ell enna"?
No luck with names for Ned yet. DH is STILL saying its too far away to start discussing (he'll probably still be saying that in the labour ward!) so I have a fairly long list but nothing is really jumping out at me and sticking - or at least nothing that DH hasn't already said "oh that's awful/pretentious/old fashioned" or something else equally flattering. Dan - I ended up getting two prams (oop!) I initially put the double mountain buggy on layby but then decided I really couldn't justify the ridiculous price (about $1,500 once you get all the bits). So I've bought the Valco side by side while I'll use for proper walks and a babylove tandem which is really light and folds up small, which I'll keep in the car for shopping. Even buying two prams we still end up about $500 in front - crazy! I wish I liked the P&T but I just can't :p
-
HI everyone!
Ash - I'm so sorry to hear you are going through so much right now... I'm so sorry about the pregnancy and then on top of that it sounds like Scott is begin an absolute tw@t.... I'm sure you have had lots of legal advice etc... but keep a diary if you can of everything he says and does hun, when he cahnges his mind about stuff etc... Makes it easier for you as well to remember what has happened. I hope you get everything sorted for yur and Blakey's sake really soon. Don't stress about Blake talking either hun, Izzy only just started babbling when she was nearly 10 mths and her vocab consists of babababababa, lalalalalalalala, blowing raspberries and the occasional dadadadada - but that isn't in reply to us! We will say - "say dadadada" and she looks at us and says "lalalalaala!" It will all come in good time - Blake is so active as is Izzy so they sound like they are more interested in exploring than talking!:D
Lulu - you will work out the name soon enough, but that is hilarious that DH thinks that it's still ages away! Methinks the man is in denial! :p It's only 4 weeks or so isn't it! How exciting for you hun - you will do a brilliant job with your two gorgeous girls and cope just like you have with Izzy! She is so clever walking around! Izzy has to hold onto something with one hand still which I'm forever thankful for and I'm not encouraging her to let go at all!! hahaha!
Oh the pram dilemma - I sold my strider this week on ebay and now need to decide what to get - I LOVE that my Maclaren is so narrow and really my only options for narrow is the P & T's ;) I know you LOVE it too! Heehee! but I really think it will do us fine plus I want Izzy to be able to nap lying down too mmmmm too many choices! I will use the stroller and thebaby bjorn in the first few months alot anyway when bub is tiny and then use the pram later on.
Dan - Yay for LIvvy's walking - don't you think they look so little and cute to be walking! I look at her and think - why aren't you lying on your back kicking or something??? :cryinglaugh: I'm on holidays right now so work is GREAT!! ;) Actually work is ok - but I really don't have much motivation right now because I'm feeling so cr@ppy - I'm hoping this m/s will ease off a bit in the next week or so! I'm thinking about Izzy's party too - we will have about 30-40 people and it will be her dedication too, so we contemplated a park, but I'm scared it will be freezing, I remember the day we came home from hospital was about 14 degrees.. so we might just have it here or at my sisters place which is alot bigger...
Sangie - yep I have a baby bump that is combined with a chocolate icecream bump, maccas bump and a I had a baby 10 mths ago bump!:cryinglaugh: \Seriously though - I do have a little one now that is actually baby and not just the hideous amount of weight that I have put on.. these tummy muscles are just not as strong as they used to be! I know its ages away but I am determined to lose it all once this bub comes! Good luck planning Elena's party- do you know which park you will go to??
SHell - You have been quiet for a few days - hope you are ok hun
:hello: everyone else I've missed!
Thanks all for you support - I think I'm finally realising that I am going to have this baby! 13 weeks today -whoo hooooooo! TIme to start going shopping soon I think although I won't need much really, I'm thinking of borrowing a friends cot, hiring a capsule, getting the p & t's pram, and getting a baby bjorn ( we have the Ryco one that kills my shoulders) and thats about it for bigger items!
RIght I'd better go and get myself organised for the day! Have a great weekend everyone!
-
Hi all!!
Thank you Tan for organising the KKs!! Yes yes!! Would love to be a part of it so just let me know the details :D
Hope everyone is going well. Me - I'm in denial about Mia turning one soon. So much so I even tried t squeeze her into 000 jeans that really did not fit her because I refused to believe she'd grown so much that she didn't fit into them anymore... loser! LOL
I'm going great. Officially resigned from my old job, so I'm a full-flegded photographer now full time now. Absolutely LOVING IT - have a ball, it's tiring, but fun. Especially with looking after Mia full time and then doing that in any other spare moment I have, it does impact on our family time altogether though. I'm hoping I can get a bit more organised though so it doesn't have to.
Happy Easter to all the bubs! First Easter for all of them I think!! :)
Take care,
xx
-
Just a quick one - want to get in before Tan goes shopping today maybe! Try the ergos before you get a baby bjorn. I got the BB before Izzy was born and then got an ergo when I fell pregnant again because it was soooooooooooo much more comfortable. They can go on your front or back, which is really cool (Izzy loves it on my back - or at least used to when it fit around me to do up!), and you can get an insert so your new little gumnut can go in from birth. They're on sale now on the greenkids website for about $140 odd I think plus the insert - makes them not much different in price to the ergo.

Thanks Lulu for the heads up - didn't even think about the Ergo so will definately check them out! No shopping for me today, it's too cold and showery - Iz and I have been having a couch day playing all snuggled up with the heater on!
I just got an email from my MIL about Al's grandpa who has been unwell(lung cancer and emphysema) for a while now but is really going downhill :( He is living with my IL's but has been in and out of hospital with breathing problems since he has been there for the last 6 weeks. This time in hospital the Dr's have asked my FIL and his brother about reviving Pa, which they have said no and the hospital said they wouldn't anyway (why ask if the answer is no anyway??) so things are a bit sad here.... Al knows it's serious every day but doesn't really talk about it, and he is at soccer today so I just opened the email and am still crying... He is 76 so has lived a long great life but still, it's so sad knowing that he more than likely won't see our bubby born, and may not at this stage even make it to Izzy's 1st birthday. Sorry to be such a downer but just need to get it all out....
Ok off to see if I can stem this tide of crying and think positive thoughts....

Oh Tan, That is terrible news. I lost my Grandma when I was 15wks preg with Angus, and it was so hard cause I really wanted her to meet bubs. Does he live close-by?? Will you get to see him?? Thinking of you and Al and Izzy xxx On a positve shopping note, I have an ergo and love it. Also check out mei tais (spelling) there is a website, maybe google catbirdbaby  and you will find it!! I also had a hug a bub which was great with a newborn, but was a bit hot up here once winter was ove. I sold it and then got the ergo. Have to say it is really easy to use, but the only drawback is they can only face you not outwards iykwim. But I dont think I would bother with the baby bjorn imo!!!
Ash, I am really sorry to hear of your loss. And as for Scott, what a toss. I can't believe men sometimes, he is only hurting his relationship with Blake by thinking of himself. Good to hear you are well and your new man sounds like a keeper!!!
Kristen, good to hear that all is well with your photography!!! I think we are all in denial - where has the last year gone!!!!
Lulu, sounds like you did well in the pram dept!!!! Why don't you like the p&t's? They have good bits and bad I spose, and a pram is such a personal thing hey!
Hello to everyone else!!! I am in a hurry so will have to cut it off there and do part 2 of personals later!!!!
The kids and I are home alone as DH has gone away for a fishing comp. SO will be pretty quiet round here tonight!!! thanks for missing me too by the way Tan;) I have had so much on my mind I have been too busy to sit down and type! DH is thinking about changing jobs interstate perhaps, so I am a bit anxious about leaving all my family. the company he works for has been sold so his job and all the bonuses etc may be cut, so I am a bit stressy about everything. At least i know I can go work if need be to help with the bills etc, but all the same I am a bit worried about what the next few weeks might bring. Anyway, I really better go cook dinner for my angels!!! BBL!! No hubby so I can sit on the comp and do what I want all night!!!

Tan I'm so sorry to hear about Al's grandpa, thinking of you guys during this hard time. We lost 2 grandma's last year (both on DH's side) and it was absolutely heartbreaking so I know what you guys are going through. On a happier note, I bet that your 'bump' looks gorgeous! We are seriously re-thinking the 1st birthday in the park idea after the week we are having! For those non-melbournites, it is ***** freezing and raining here!!! :(
Lulu it is said 'Ell enna', exactly how it is written although it can be said 'El ayna' which I think is more common in europe. I was worried that people would pronounce her name wrong but so far everybody has got it right. I guess the big test will be when she goes to school though. I find it so funny that your DH thinks there is no need to decide on Ned's name yet. Maybe a huge whack to his head will make him realise that she will be here very soon lol! Anyway not to worry, I'm sure you guys will come up with the perfect name for your princess.
Ash hun I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Stoopid Scott giving you a hard time is the last thing you need. Just makes you realise how much better off you are now hey?? Anyway sending you some super squishy hugs and I hope that things settle down for you guys soon.
Shell sorry you are having some money stresses but I'm sure it will all work itself out. Where are you thinking of moving?
Hi Kristen, yay on resigning!! I had to laugh about still trying on 000 clothes. I wish Ellie could still wear some of those clothes, they are so cute and some of them barely got worn as she grew so fast!
Dan yay for shopping for winter clothes! We have recently done the same thing as the weather has gotten so cold. I couldn't resist some cute little tracksuits, so cute! And OMG I bought more than a few hoodies for El, could not resist :)
Ok that is as far back as I can read tonight, sorry if I missed anyone. I'm so tired, I have a cold and feeling a bit miserable. Hope everyone is well, catch ya's all later!

Lulu-I feel like doing much more than ripping his throat out, he is such a complete idiot! I hope you can agree on a name for Ned soon, I was so lucky with Blake and knew before we had him, but if I ever had another I'd be completely stuck!!! 4 weeks to go omg I had Blake in 2 days from where you're at...ok that was probably a silly thing to say lol nah just keep your legs closed and she should stay put LOL
Tan-Yep I'm keeping a diary and I write down every text, threat etc in exact form and all convos in detail. I'm not going to lose this battle, no way in hell will he have my little boy for the majority share, 50/50 or less is all I'll settle for! I hear you on active bubbas, mine is a crazy kid! I'm glad to hear Iz is coming along in leaps and bounds, you'll have another soon for her to play with, beautiful! I'm sorry to hear that news sweetie, I hope you're feeling better. He will always know the kids even if he doesn't get to meet gumnut in person :)
Kristen-PMSL at squeezing Mia into tiny jeans, I'm gonig through the same except squeezing Blake into 0's as he is going into 1's now...omg he is so big! Congratulations on being fully self employed, when were you taking your Qld holiday again?!?!
Shell-Men and fishing, what is with it? Dave is obsessed, he and his Dad go out at least once a fortnight...he has a boat so I've gone twice but they bore the crap outta me lol Which state is DH's potential new job in? Dn't leave me (ok I know you're ages away but still the same state at least hehe).
Lis-Fanks for the hugs, I really do thrive on them of late.
Not much to tell here, a bit nervous about the job tomorrow but I know I'll be fine. I couldn't find any clothes the other day though so now I'm pretty much ging to have to wear maternity clothes to work, verrrry sexy!
Is anyone else weaning their babies from BM/Formula to cow's/soy/goat's milk as yet? Blake has been having half formula, half goat's milk for about a month now and he loves it! So expensive though, but mum knows people who breed show goats so I'll be able to get nice fresh stuff for half the price :)
Have a good week everyone!

Ash, don't get me started about fishing!!! We have just brought a boat, and it is my DH's new baby!! We went out last weekend, then he spent the Sunday cleaning. polishing and touching up the paint!!!obsessed is an understatement!!! We are looking at jobs all over, thought mainly NT and WA as they have the most mining potential jobs. I think a change is as good as a holiday and would be good for the kids while they are young. We would not sell our house here though cause this will always be home. Sorry southern guys but QLD really is awesome and I couldn't imagine home being anywhere else!!!!
Tan, sounds like you are keen for that vbac!! Good luck at the hosp, I hope they are supportive of your decision!! The list looks great - can't wait to start shopping!!! Are we all just going to pm you our addresses and stuff?? Can't wait!!
Anyway, just Angus and I at home today so am going to take advantage of it and try and have a nap!!! I am exhausted!! Had a huge weekend and need to catch up on some zzzzz's and housework at some stage!! have a nice day everyone!!!

BIRTHDAY STUFF!
Hey Shell- VERY keen for a VBAC - I seriously think if I have another c/s I will need some major counselling Im that worried about it - just the thought of it makes me feel ill!
Ah well hopefully this bubby will co-operate and come out on time and in time and it won't be an issue!
Didn't think about addresses etc  I think Im going to have to know who is buying for Izzy because DH won't cope with organising all of this! Ah well doesn't matter!
If everyone could pm me or email your address that would be great so that when I email you tomorrow night I can include addresses.
Also if anyone has preferences for gifts let me know too so I can let your KK person know.If you prefer me to email PM your email addy instead!
Cheers and I will be on and off today - bl@@dy dial up is driving me nuts - thank goodness its the 1st of the mth tomorrow!
-
Think positive thoughts Tan and I'm sure you will get that vbac!!!! I don't think my DH would cope organising kk either! I have PM'd you also. Thanks for organising this too - can tell you are a teacher!!!!
-
He he lol Shell, I was also thinking 'spot the teacher!'.
Tan that is a huge compliment in case you are wondering! Some of my bestest friends are teachers!
I will PM you too. I really hope you can get that VBAC tan, how did you go at the Mercy?? I have heard great things about them too, wish I lived a little closer as I would have considered going there.
Miss Elena is being a grumpy bum today, I hope she isn't getting my cold.
