Ok, so I bought the Janome serger and I love it. Had it serviced and oiled and the guy who did it said that it is in very good condition even for it's age (20+ years) so I'm happy.

BUT

It skips stiches So I read that troubleshooting in the back of the manual and it says:

1) Needles are blunt/bent or incorrectly inserted
CHECK - new needle

2) Machine is incorrectly threaded
CHECK - sit for two hours and thread machine - YES it's threaded correctly

3) Tension is wrong
Check - The sewing looks like it should in the manual and it looks nice and neat on fabric

Any other ideas???? It does not skip a lot of stitches only like one and not all the time. If I go slow, it skips, if I go fast it skips, if I do corner it skips, if I go straight ... you get the picture
