Have you read all 4 books? Which one was your favourite?

Yes. I finished on the weekend & started reading Twlight again plus have downloaded Midnight Sun. Twlight was my favourite. I loved watching Bella & Edwards love develop and 'meeting' all the characters. I was a bit annoyed with Breaking Dawn. It skipped too much over Bella & Edwards love. I think this should have developed more, particularly as a married couple. There were hints of how firey their relationship was, but nothing but a let down. Also, I was a bit blown away that when Bella was developing her power that Edward wasn't enough, she relied on Renesmee. I get the whole child thing, but their love was suppose to be IT.....

Have you seen the movie? What did you think?

No, not yet. I am avoiding it a bit due to the mixed reactions (more so that it was not that good), but I bought the DVD tonight and am going to veg out tomorrow & watch it - even if it's for a perve! DH is hogging the TV...... Also want to get a copy of the soundtrack.

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan? Why?

I would say Edward. Jacob sort of annoyed me & overstepped the boundaries sometimes when putting the pressure on Bella to chose him - reminded me of a guy who would't take no for an answer from me. Although Jacob is a bit cheeky & cute, Edward just makes me almost stop breathing...... I have to say though that whilst I didn't warm to Emmetts character, he is pretty hot looking!

    What is your favourite quote?

There are quite a few, but the one that stands out the most is:

'Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, points of light and reason. And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.'

At last!!! more people I can talk too that arent pre or pubescent girls!!

Have you read all 4 books? Which one was your favourite?
yep, read all four in about 3 days, then had to read midnight sun (well, as much as I could find!) then I read them again and again and again....
Breaking dawn is deffinately my fave, with twilight a close second, new moon and eclipse just annoyed me, I wanted to skip past all the werewolf crap, who cares about them, give me the vampires!!

Have you seen the movie? What did you think?
yep, I was warned to enjoy the movie as a movie in itself, which I did, so much so that mum bought me a copy for my birthday!
my personal fave bit is the sequence when bella works out that edward is a vampire, there is a scens of her lying on a couch with edward draped over her about to suck her neck....ahhhh...sadly that pic is not in the complete twilight movie companion (which I bought for my equally obsessed 13 yo neice so I could look at the pictures!!)

Are you an Edward or a Jacob fan? Why?
as far as Im concerned, Edward can cover me in bruises, break my headboard and bite my pillows any day!!! need I say more??
although alot of people ask me if the reason I named my son jacob was cos of twilight! I hadnt actually read them then!! so im team edward but I think I will buy the Ilove jacob shirt from supre...

    What is your favourite quote?
there are just too many......most have already been said in here.

Well i have oficcially finished all the books and have just finished watching the movie... and ... well... I have to admit the books are way better - but I did enjoy the movie!
I think what bothered me the most about the movie is it doesn't portray Edwards confidence very well. To me in the book he seems very sure of himself, and he seems the complete oposite in the movie!
Otherwise, the characters have been picked out quite well! Can't wait to see the sequels!

I just watched the movie & the 2nd disk with all the outtakes & stuff.

Why oh why did they make Rob Pattison put on that crap American accent when he has the most drooly English accent. Yeah, I know he is suppose to be American, but sheesh they could have overlooked that.
Edward was not 'smooth' enough IMO & I agree with Teagz, not very confident.
Comparing the book & the movie there is no comparison, but as a movie on it's own it's ok. I hope the next one is better.

Starrysky "as far as Im concerned, Edward can cover me in bruises, break my headboard and bite my pillows any day!!!"

I cant think of anyone else who could have played Edward, I think Rob nailed it although agree that he wasnt as confident as he was in the book. I read on the Twilight Wiki website that that was Rob's interpretation of Edward, and he really butted heads with Steph Meyer over it. Rumor has it that he was even writing suicide notes to himself...tres weird!

DH is out all day tomorrow, will get into my Team Edward tee and watch the movie me thinks...

That's interesting about Rob's interpretation of Edward cos I thought it was just a bit of poor directing. When I watched the second disk with the director, Stephanie Meyer etc.... I felt that the director was purely focussed on the scene & effects.
I can't think of anyone else who would have done Edwards character anymore justice though. I think if he was a bit more like himself personally it would have been heaps better. Am going to watch it again b/c when I watched it, it was in sections (due to time) and I think this time it will flow better, also I'll try not to be so critical & judge it against the book so much.

    I
We downloaded the deleted scenes and Catherine Hardwicke introduces that scene as being Kristin Stewart's favourite from the film....that sounds about right, she is the most miserable, whiney, obnoxious biatch of an actress I think I've ever heard of - it seems like she is just so bitter at being a paid actress in a hit series. She wouldn't present at the Oscars because she was only going to present at the oscars when she does something worthwhile, a good movie, not just one which makes a lot of money. Cranky cow. So it doesn't suprise me that this is her favourite scene - she just doens't *get* the concept of the series at all does she?
Hun i couldn't agree with you more!! I cant STAND her!!

Definately Nikki - true to the story or not it looks waaaaaaaaaaaay better but a higher $$$ budget will do that!

Rainbow - OMG the movie does not do the book justice. Read all the books before you see the next installment.

ETA - where the heck are the Team Emmett tshirts. While Edward and Jacob are hot, Emmett is the epitomy of sexiness for me

OMG, so hanging out for November to get my next fix...lol!

Twilight won 5 awards at the MTV awards today, including best kiss. The first time I watched it, I didnt think much of it, but now when I watch that scene, its really so intense, and gets my heart racing

According to Famous magazine last week, there are gonna be lots of differences in New Moon, including lots of scenes with Edward and Bella. I'm not complaining though, I love them together!
