I have just finished Simple Simon a free ebook I downloaded from amazon. Not too bad, not sure what to start on next. On holiday lazing by the pool, I'm sure ill have time to read one more before we go home

I'm reading Michael Ondaatji's Divisadero. Not by choice either it's for my english lit unit and OMG it's hard to read. He also wrote the English patient and I hated that movie! I think it's tainted my opinion of this book though.

Trillian I started reading the english patient. Most boring book ever. I didn't get too far into it. I couldn't bring myself to watch the movie after that

This is not much better. I have read people's reviews of this book and the ****ery is hilarious. They surely must be saying all this stuff because they think they *have* to say it. Things like 'the flowing prose from the sensitive poet that is Ondaatji are like a song in my soul' Seriously?

Could not stand The English Patient book. Overwritten pretentiousness at its best IMO.

Didn't mind the film though. I love Kristen Scott Thomas.

Case law ... lots of case law. Does that count?
