Oooh, I like this game. What kind of books do you like?

I'm reading one of the "Girls Night In" compilations at the moment (a bunch of short chick-lit style stories) and the Divergent trilogy is next in my list.

I'm aiming for 1-2 a month, too, this coming year

I'm reading the hunger games. I love them.

I also love any book by Jodi Picoult or Katie Flynn (set in England around war time, family saga type stories).

Mum gave me 'Light Between Oceans' to read a few weeks ago. It was an awesome story. I live in the area the story was set too, so that made it more interesting for me. Emotional, but a great read! I'd love more suggestions like this if anyone has any! (Though I'm trying NOT to read too much, coz I get NOTHING done!)

I read The Iron King yesterday. It's fantasy, & really not my style, but was still a good read. 5 books in the series, not sure I'll continue, but who knows

I read a book called Trafficked on my trip away in October too. True story. Great read.

I started reading a series of VC Andrews books about 10 years ago. I might try find them to download. I read the first 2, then stopped coz MIL had loaned the 3rd one out & I refused to go any further without it, lol. I think I'll have to start again now.

(Sorry, I don't have any friends who really read & its been a long time since I allowed myself to, so I'm a little excited to be able to discuss it )

    Re: Where to begin?

I've read the Hunger Games series, the 50 Shades series and the Harry Potter books. Those are pretty much the only books I have read since I have my kids, there may have been one or two more that I can't remember.
I used to read fantasy type books- Robert Jordan in particular. Also a few of Anne Rice's books. I can't even really remember what else!
I don't particularly like real life stuff, I like to lose myself in a book. I have one of the Game of Thrones books, but it's so big! It's a little daunting!
