AJP - thanks hun! I actually couldnt' get onto BB at all today after I posted this but I managed to google the recipe and that EXACT recipe came up on the website and i printed it off and used that exact one!!

I just finished eating it with DH and can I just say it's absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!
    Recommend it highly!!!

Mel - definitely use fresh apples rather than tinned Much better!!

    * I used Sundowner apples. Only thing is it didn't say to remove the skins first and i didn't but next time I make it i'll take the skins off,be better that way.....

Ren, you've probably already made it but just wanted to add that I do a similar one to Sangie. Except I use either Pink Lady or Royal Gala apples (much sweeter) and I pre-cook them in a saucepan with a couple of tablespoons of water and a couple of spoonfuls of caster sugar and cinnamon. Then I chuck them in a dish and put the crumble mixture on top and bake that in the oven until golden brown.

I made an apple crumble in class at high school, and have been looking for the recipe ever since! I think it was an old woman's weekly recipe? I wish I could find it, it was delicious.
I remember the crumble was brown sugar with cornflakes crushed up, but can't quite remember what else went in with it!

Nic - try the recipe that AJP posted! It's the one I used and it was so DELICIOUS!!
Just make sure you take the apple skins off first I didn't, and it's better without them.

    Laranna - yum!!
