    Baby Friendly Restaurants in Perth

    Hi

Does anyone know any baby friendly restaurants or cafe's in Perth? ie. Change table in toilets. Would love to find somewhere nice to catch up with my girls every now and then.

    Thanks

P.S. Mods pls move if this is posted in the wrong section.

Ooh, good question! Sienna's in Leederville is good. Haven't been there in a while, so not sure what the toilets/change rooms are like, but they have a cool playroom for the toddlers/older kiddies.

There was one time we went to the Amarin (does my favourite Thai!!) in Subi and I had to end up changing DS on the back seat of the car. It was our first restaurant outing with him and they don't even have a space in their bathroom on the sink to change him! LOL.

Although, if the toilets are clean enough I put the lid down and change him on that. Otherwise I go to the disabled toilets with my big change mat and change him on the floor (did that at Dragon Palace once).

Thanks Eluned, some good suggestions. I have changed my little one in the car before, just annoying having to go back to the car especially if the weather is terrible. Siena's Leederville isn't bad too but I don't think I've been to the toilets.

    Any other suggestions, anyone???

I would recommend staying away from Sizzler - unless you don't mind changing your bub in the change station in the disabled toilet!

What about IKEA, don't they have a creche?

What is wrong with a change station in disabled toilets?- that is where lots of places have chnge facilities due to space.

Sienna's in Leederville isnt too bad, but there is not alot of pram space so this can be a bit of an issue.

There is a place in vic park that used to be peroni's not sure what it's name is now- they were pretty good for space not sure about change table though.

My suggestion is just ringing up before you go to some of your fav places and checking what facilities they have, and also booking and table and telling them you have a pram so they give you some room.

I don't have my own baby, I was changing my nephew, but I feel bad about taking the space away from disabled people who might need it, and I worry about the hygeine of changing a baby in a toilet, KWIM? I mean, I know that MY hygeine standards are high, but what about the last person who used the toilet? I don't think its too much to ask to have a separate room for parents'n'bubs - which would also make it easier to get bubs to sleep, as opposed to being under bright fluorescent lighting!
