oohhh couscous is a fave in our house!!!!

the basic recipe i use is

    1 cup couscous
    1 cup boiling stock

put it in a glass or metal bowl for 5 mins covered in cling wrap and then fluff it up with a tblspn oil

then i usually have roasted veg and lamb with mine like a salad

u can flavour it with anything though, moraccan spices are nice

Just substitute it for rice. I use it when I have a dish with a yummy sauce. I use cous cous for something different (has a different texture) and also because it is HEAPS easier and faster to cook than rice!
It doesn't really taste like anything so it works with everything. LOL!

We cook it up with butter, feta and corn kernels. YUM! Or sometimes I do a rissotto like thing with it which is always a hit!

    You'll never turn back now!

I have used the ainsley's citrus kick cous cous, its great in raps with diced tomato, red onion and moroccan chicken.... otherwise just use it as a rice replacement...

It's a staple in our house, DS loves it! I like to jazz it up with some toasted pine nuts, coriander/flat leaf parsley, grated lemon rind, sultanas and a drizzle of olive oil. You can use it in soup too instead of pasta or barley etc or even make a sweet one for breakfast with dried fruit, nuts and honey.
