Put the eggs one at a time in a big glass of water. If they are fine they will sit on the bottom. If they are old, they will stand on their end, and if they are off they will float. This has to do with the amount of gas the egg produces as it gets old.
As long as they don't float they are ok to cook with!
Word of warning, don't crack a floating egg, it can really stink!
Whatcha cookin?
I wouldn't use them, that just me. I don't even like to drink milk on the day of exp or few days before. I worry its going to go off before the exp date!
Did the water test work? I agree sconeonamission....once past the use by date, thats it for me......considering your preggers too...i dunno, i just wouldnt.....
