Friday Night Meals Not Take away?

Hi, I do my grocery shopping on a friday night when DH gets home from work and I buy everything I need for the week and weekend for meals. On friday nights when I get back from shopping I cook tea and I usually cook something that is quick my favourite is sweet chilli chicken wraps.
I buy chicken tenders, burrito wraps, lettuce cheese tomato and mayo and put it all together on the wrap with sweet chilli sauce tastes awesome and is filling and quick to make.
I am just wondering what other people make that is quick just for some more ideas.
    Thanks.

For something easy and nutritious I usually buy a hot chook and do frozen vegies with a Continental Rice or Pasta side dish.

Yeah, we usually do a slap up dinner on shopping night too (thursday) cause i am just too knackered once I get home late pack it all away and start getting kids bathed etc. Sometimes its pizza, other times its just sausage sandwiches or an omlete.

I know where I'm going for Friday night dinner

You could do pizza, using frozen bases, and throw whatever toppings you like on there. Hamburgers, using nice fresh bread rolls from the supermarket/bakery.
Fish & oven baked potato chips
Or even good old scrambled eggs on toast/soup and toast.

I do pizza on pita bread or chicken burgers with frozen chicken breasts and oven chips.

I like the sound of hamburgers - might have to be a bit more organised for that - hmmm maybe I could do chicken burgers even or chicken snitzel burgers yum

BLT's on fresh bread rolls....yumm. Another easy meal is to make a quiche during the day and then simply reheat that night with either salad or frozen chips.

We do homemade pizza dinners on Friday night, we got a trick of Jamie Oliver and we do a heap of pizza bases at once and freeze them, so we do enough to get us through a month and freeze them so all we have to do is take them out and go.... We separate the bases with a layer of baking paper.

Also left over night... we do that heaps...

Gee sure makes our dinner tonight- sausages in bread - look rather boring!! Lol. Too tired to do anything else...

Salad- i love your sweet chilli wrap idea! I am going to do that one! Sounds yummy.

Hamburgers, scrambled eggs on toast or boiled eggs with soldiers toast, bbq Chook sandwiches or what Tinkerbell said.

We do our BBQ chook with frozen veg, can't remember what brand but they have a cheesy sauce and pasta in also? I usually add extra froz veg & a cheese sauce packet, shred the chicken & stir it through - is nicer than it sounds!

Another one is, our Butcher does great kebabs, lamb chicken or beef on the stick - we have those with salad...yum...

What about a quiche!! You could throw it together when you get home put it in the oven then put the groceries away as it is cooking....serve with a salad!! Very tasty and healthy and doesn't blow the budget either!
