    Horseradish.

Twenty years ago I bumped into someone I had known and asked how they were,
"better", was the reply, "but only due to some advice re. taking a mix up of
Garlic and Horseradish", to help this person's Emphysema, or today's COPD.

I was self inflicting the same fate upon myself via chain smoking and now
need to know how best to get Horseradish so I can mix it with cloves of Garlic
to see if it helps or not -
Prefer not to get vitamin like tablets of it, but rather a fresher type version ?
Do you think a Horseradish sauce would have the full capacity ?

    TIA.

You can usually get fresh horseradish from the market, can be quite $$$$$, I think about $40 a kilo, I have a receipe for horseradish sauce if you want. It is an old family receipe from my Nan who has passed away, each year my cousins get together to make it for christmas....sorry rambling now just horseradish brings back so many memories

Let me know if you want the receipe, ( you can always add garlic to it)...

Thanks to LS and youself P-M - I can't quite tell the difference, if I am able to obtain
Fresh HR would I then need to make a sauce ? or crush a bit of HR and a clove of Garlic together and somehow eat the mix, or rather add to a meal in little bits so as not to get a mouthful of that dreadful heat ?
