How do you like your crumpets?

I love them smothered in butter and honey, so it all melts and leaks through the crumpet, and then when I eat it, it drips all over my plate and fingers.....mmmmmmmmmmmm *drool*

I also have peanut butter sometimes, or jam, but honeys my favourite! How do you like YOUR crumpets?

Yep, I'm a loads of butter andhoney lover too, and sometimes vegemite, though honey is my fave. I also sometimes get a bit adventurous and have them with lots of butter and...baked beans! It's really yum, but you have to let the sauce from the baked beans soak in a little bit, the second one is always yummier than the first! I had this the other week and DS ate most of it! He loved it, lol!

a soft cheese spread all over it and microwaved for 5 seconds to soften the cheese even more

and the most vomit worthy way of doing it (not mine I might add) is kippers, I am NOT in the house when this is done in the morning, I am never in the house when the kippers come out

Cooked as in a little brown around the edges..very hot, smothered in butter (so it goes through to the bread board) and vegemite *sigh* Yum!

DH has vegemite on his but I hate vegemite!!
We used to have them with melted cheese when i was a kid or even tomato and cheese.

mmmmm, crumpetts............. deffinatly stacked with butter (at the moment nuttlex bad butter bad!) once its all melted threw,
then add the vegimite or honey, sometimes grose out df and have both on one, or sometimes have jam.
couldnt have them today, kids got up b4 me and ate them uncooked, like bread
i use to like nuttella and vegimite on the same one, but df use to make me sick with revolting comments when i was eating and turned me off...

must restock at shopping tonight....

Real butter, twice cooked so the bottom is brown, and with marmalade. I'll be trying Rouge's suggestion of fresh tomato, cheese, basil... but I don't like the idea of Vegemite.
