I do this too often...but I agree with Zazou! Maybe I should be a groupie!

All this emphasis on cutting everything out of our diet is faddish and killing us. I do believe some people have a genuine need to cut out parts of our diets but seriously rouge you sound perfect.

It's not like you are feeding them junk. They have cereals. Check. They have meat. Check. They have vegetables and fruit. Check. They have dairy. Check. They have sugar. Check. There is your food pyramid. That's a balanced diet.

Also mad B I am with you. Salt is so underrated. There is a difference to salt infested foods and adding some seasoning. Salt is vital for our bodies.

Old fashioned all the way. Then they ask why our kids aren't fussy....

Can I also add if I see or hear the words "bone broth" one more time I may just delete everyone on IG and FB. Seriously I am SURE it's super good for you, but honestly I don't have the time or inclination right now to make BONE BROTH - just the words bother me also.... Ranty hijacking vent over.....

Thinking about this on a deeper level, I can't help but wonder if all these 'lifestyle diets' that people follow because some study said it was better for you or that sugar/grains/carbs etc will kill you aren't going to create a bigger problem in that children end up with major food issues because of the way their parents freak out about it. Kids who absolutely have to follow a particular diet for medical reasons etc are different, they know that if they eat outside of that diet they will get sick etc. But these kids who grow up being told all this other stuff, like the parents who have conniptions if their child even looks sideways at a red lolly are going to have problems later on. Food restriction is a very, very dangerous thing and can create a whole lifetime of issues for these kids.
