Well i had a look in the cookbook and there were only a few recipes using the jel ring - and it was all summer puddings and things like that - if anyone is interested in them though let me know and i can photocopy the pages for you if tyou like
I booked a party at the one I went to the other night, and we are making the pizza, and I have a sheet with instructions on it plus club sandwich receipe too if anyone wants it!
Okay, this is from the Tupperware sheet I was given and I can't scan today so you should all be very appreciative of my typing skills and speed
Supreme Pizza
INGREDIENTS
One loaf of bread sandwich slice, tub of Leggos flavoured tomato paste or BBQ sauce, 250g tasty cheese
3-4 fillings of choice e.g., ham, salami, olives, mushrooms, chopped capsicum, spring onion, pineapple or BBQ chicken
METHOD
Cut crusts off bread. Spread each slice with paste or sauce and cut each piece diagonally. Remove seal from the Jel ring and sprinkle base with a large handful of grated cheese, some ham and olives. Place triangles of bread, paste down, around the jel ring, matching edges like a jigsaw puzzle using 4 slices (8 triangles of bread). Press down FIRMLY. Sprinkle next layer with cheese, salami, capsicum and then another layer of bread. Continue assorted layers, pressing each bread layer down firmly until you are at the top of the gel ring, ending with bread. Place seal on, express air, and put into fridge for 10 minutes. Remove seal and turn jel ring onto greased pizza oven tray. Release seal and pizza will drop onto tray. Remove jel ring and cook in mod oven for 15-20 mins. Slice to serve!
VARIATIONS
Use BBQ sauce, cheese BBQ chicken and pineapple for a chick pizza. Or Tomato sauce, ham, cheese and pineapple for a Hawaiian pizza.
CLUB SANDWICH
Using same method as above, replace the paste/sauce and spread each layer with butter/cream cheese or mayonaisse. Sprinkle chopped parsley into jel right then layer of bread and press firmly. They layer with whatever filling you like, e.g. curried egg and shredded lettuce, salad layers, ham and pickles, the choice are endless - just remember to press each layer down firmly and end with a bread layer. Seal, express air and place in fridge fro 10 minutes, until chilled, or even overnight if layers aren't too juicy (no good using tomato or pineapple if overnight) Remove seal, turn onto serving plate, release ring and remove jel ring, Slice club sandwich to serve!
