Ok ladies I need some help. I am shooting a wedding tomorrow & I need some snack ideas to keep me going for the day. I can't be lugging around an esky or anything & more than likely I'll be munching in the car between locations (house, church, park, reception). Other than muesli bars, fruit & nut mix & limited fruit (maybe an apple & banana) I have no idea what to take with me. I'm not sure if they've organised a meal for me at the wedding, but I'm running on the thought that they haven't. I will be out from 12-10pm, so will have lunch first....
ETA: If you have a peek at my sig, it really is important that I'm eating during the day

Congratulations Sarah
I was going to say mini quiches as well - simple though nothing fancy. Or a zucchini frittata cut into small squares. Maybe a couple of choccies or lollies for a quick boost if your energy levels get low.
What about some tinned-type fruit that you get in the little tubs? If that make sense! That might help keep your energy up. Also those tins of flavoured tuna are nice and you could dip some crackers or carrot sticks in it.
Hhhm, naughty girl you didn't say anything last Sat night when I saw you & asked you... very cheeky
God, I'm clueless & didn't even notice your sig before now!
Make yourself some sandwiches/savoury muffins is what I say
Go to Ree's website... go to her dinner roll recipe. Make the dough as directed... then instead of rolling in balls, roll out in a long rectangle as you would if making cinnamon rolls (check out her images for her cinnamon roll recipe). Then get your fave toppings (cheese, bacon, tomato paste, caramalised onion, roast pumpkin cubes, pesto, rocket, toasted pine nuts etc) and put them layer upon layer on your big rectangle. Then roll it up so that you have a big long snake. Chop up swirls about 2 cms thick. Put them into a greased tray (squish them together close without squishing them) and then proof for another 40 mins (covered with a tea towel) or so and then cook for about 20-40 mins @ 200 or until golden and cooked.
Umm, vegie chips, crackers, trail mix, breakfast bars, or those breakfast drinks (store in esky in car if possible), sandwich, rice crackers, popcorn...thats all I can think of lol...
