    Non-dairy breakfast ideas

I am trialling a non-dairy diet for a few weeks to see if it helps my LOs tummy. I used to have cereal and milk every day. I am getting sick of toast- any ideas for a healthy, filling, non-dairy breakfast?

    Thanks

How about savoury muffins? We are loving zucchini quiche and spinach and feta muffins for breaky here atm. They are pretty filling and a great way to get an extra serve of vegies

I don't drink diary milk. My usual breakfast is oat porridge with brown sugar and soy milk. Or Quinoa porridge (in the health food section, very tasty - i just boil it up with sliced apple and cinnamon stick and serve with raw sugar and soy milk. In fact that is also how i often have my oat porridge too). I often make french toast (once again with soy milk in the eggs) but get a bit generous with the maple syrup so maybe not the healthiest.

A friend used to have miso soup with rice and tofu for brekky and that is very healthy. Just cook rice the night before and add what you want really to the soup. I think i might have to do that as i am getting bored with oats, Quinoa is expensive and I really love hot breakfasts.

Eggs are always a good option, also try grilled mushrooms or tomatoes on toast, baked beans, scrambled tofu, or muffins.

How about whipping up some pancakes with fresh banana or strawbs. Use soy milk instead of dairy milk.
