I have to agree about not getting a non-stick pan. I got a heavy bottom stainless steel fry pan and its fantastic!!! I've seasoned it and then MIL unknowingly scrubbed it clean but I've seasoned it again. Its fantastic. I love it so much more than any non-stick pan I've had.... and I've been through quite a few

just thought I'd add Anolon pans aren't teflon coated....the metals are bonded in some special way which make it non stick, anodised? <insert scientific fidgy widgy here>

Get yourself some old school cast iron cookware Lasts forever and it's brilliant because it can go stove top to oven I've found a place that stocks the old school american stuff which is AWESOME!

Anolon are not Teflon, they are anodised.
Teflon is toxic crap, anodised is comepletely different and Anolon are ace pans, mind you, I have only used them twice lol.

But cast iron pans are much better and will last you longer. If I were buying non-stick though, I would buy Anolon or Circulon.
