I bought a meat pack from the butcher and it came with a massive juciy rib fillet roast with mushroom and garlic butter in the centre....how long would I cook it for per kilo?? it is round and approx 20cm wide!! Its huge.
Ohh and I will most likely brown it before I put it in the oven.
General rule of thumb is 1 hour per KG, but I tend to check it about 10 minutes less per KG, so for a 3 kg roast I would check it 30 minutes before I think it should be done.
