    Cashew Chicken Serves 4

    1 onion
    1 garlic clove or 1 tsp minced garlic
    1~2 chicken breasts (depends how much you like or even use tofu)
    2 carrots, cut into matchsticks/julliene
    a good handful of snow peas, ends trimmed
    1 capsicum, sliced
    150g sliced mushrooms
    1/4~1/2 head cauliflower cut up into small pieces
    5 tbsp oyster sauce
    5 tbsp water
    1~2 handfuls of cashew nuts

    Chop onion and garlic and fry for 2 minutes, chop chicken into thin slices and fry until browned, add carrots, capsicum, mushrooms, cauliflower and fry for approx 7 minutes then add snow peas for a futher 3 mins.
    Add 5 tbsp oyster sauce with 5 tbsp water and cashew nuts, stir for a minute.
    Serve with rice

    Just an idea too, in threads like this recipes can get lost very easily (which is why I often don't post recipes in the "whats for dinner" thread), which is why we have slow cooker recipe threads, pizza recipe threads, slice recipe threads and so fourth. It's a great idea but just keep in mind the recipes could get lost I don't know if you want to post the recipes elsewhere and then link back? I'm not sure.

    i was thinking of every week starting a new thread so probably best not to sticky as it would get very cluttered i imagine and then the first post has a link back to week 1, week 2, week 3 ect ~ did that make sense?

    There's a possibility though that threads like this get culled. I'm pretty sure the "What's for dinner" thread does.

    ah i get you now, maybe members could copy and paste the recipes to word and set up a folder for BB recipes or just recipes or print them out and have a folder thats what i do

    I prefer the recipes online myself Makes it easy to locate.
