vege to choice - need about 3-4 cups
500g stewing beef
chicken or beef stock enough to cover all ingredients and a little extra to add if needed
2 tabs tom paste
rice noodles
Dice an onion and brown with beef in saucepan. Add veges I used (2 carrots, I stalk celery, 1 potato, about 1 cup pumpkin, 1/2 cup corn kernals, 1/4 cup beans and 1 cup frozen mixed veges).
Pour over stock and add tom paste. Bring to boil then reduce to simmer for about 1 hour or until everything is tender.
Add rice noodles about 5 mins from end of cooking time.
Roast pumpkin and sweet potato soup
Cut up 1/2 large jap pumpkin and 1 large sweet potato
Roast in oven until tender
In saucepan cook off an onion in a little oil and add roast vege. Add chicken stock enough to cover vege bring to boil then reduce to simmer for about 15 mins.
Using a stab mixer, blend in saucepan until smooth - add a little milk if too thick and heat through.
3 large potatoes diced
2 rashers of bacon
1 onion diced
1 tin creamed corn
1/2 tin evaporated milk
1 cob fresh corn
2 cups (or enough to cover potatoes)Chicken stock
Brown onion with bacon. Add potatoes, and chicken stock. Bring to boil then reduce to simmer until potatoes are soft. Add creamed corn, milk and corn kernals. Cook further 10 mins.

BBQ chicken (take meat off the bones)
2 carrots
tin of corn kernals
tsp (or so) sesame oil
enough chicken stock to cover it all and make it 'soupy' to your taste
