I buy them for staff morning teas and I always get the ones from the Deli - they are so much nicer than the packaged ones!!!

Yep definitely go with the skinless ones from the deli. And they are on special freqeuently. And they freeze fine. We used to buy them in bulk and seperate into smallr amounts

Have you tried a type of sausage called Chevaps? They are not quite as small as ****tail franks but are about as long as my ring finger, are skinless and are 100% beef. I think they are super tasty. If you get them in a supermarket make sure you read the packet as there are two varieties - chilli and plain. Both are good but of course for kids I'd suggest you go plain.

You would no doubt be able to get them at a good independant butcher also as they are traditionally mediterrainian (sp!) and european.
