Sausages, potatoe slices and onions on the bbq with some mixed frozen veg. Very cheap and simple dinner tonight. But yummy still.

Tonight we're having Mexican BBQ Chicken (its cheats chicken, taco seasoning in a bag with chicken then shake and then BBQ) Zuchinni Fritters (with LC Bread Crumbs) Moon Blushed Grape Tomatoes (slow roasted in the oven) and home made Ranch Dressing.

it's glorious in Melb today (even though a little chilly) we are having a bbq. We have a pergola with cafe blinds and a patio heater, so it will be fabulous

LOL Feeb! I don't think I could handle it, I don't work well with people telling me what to do harharhar!

The reason I vary our dishes so much is we have two very fussy kids who do not like boring food. So if I feed them my idea of comfort food, meat & three veg they complain. But if I do something different they'll eat it. At the moment DS is refusing to eat potato so I'm trying to find exciting as side dishes. Like the other day I made creamed spinach and he devoured it! My children are weird. They hate salad and anything remotely normal. But I guess it keeps me on my toes.

As I type this, I'm eating homemade pizzas I have one with pepperoni, and one with ham and pineapple (but BBQ sauce instead of tomato to switch it up a little). DH's big one has olives, ham, capsicum, mushroom and I think he grated some carrot on top of it?! Urk.

Yum yum. HOmemade pizzas. We are having homemade pizzas tomorrow night. Tonight we had spag bog. Mmmmmm. I always put vegetable puree in it coz the kids dont eat their veges so gotta get them to eat them somehow.

I've been in the kitchen all day - tonight we have (all made from scratch); falafel, hummus, tabbouli and mint yoghurt with toasted pita. My kitchen smells like a middle eastern herb garden. Yum.

Hmmm dunno. Im not overly hungry tonight, had a late lunch. DH is in the kitchen cutting up potatoes for chips so will probably have a little of whatever he is cooking.

Felt like something a bit different, but still simple tonight, so I am trying out a new recipe I found recently... "A Traditional home made from scratch" Bombay Beef Curry... Got about 15 mins of simmering left now and it's smelling FANTASTIC! Fingers crossed baby boy likes it, he hasn't been too keen on my choice of meals lately and has been making me feel a bit sickly after dinner

Rouge, how do you do your creamed spinach??
