    What's on your table tonight?

DS1 has recently started asking for red soup and beans almost every night, after having (in a moment of desperation) chucked together a tin of tomato soup and a tin of beans and served with it toast soldiers.

So we're having that again. You never know, I might get crazy and butter the soldiers and put some season all on mine.

I've made some milk and yoghurt icy poles for dessert, and we'll have either that or water melon, depending on how warm it is when we eat.

    What are you having tonight?

Fresh baked salmon and salad. My kids have finally realised fresh salmon can be just as nice as smoked salmon.. DS will prob want baked tomato (with Parmesan cheese) with his salmon.

BBQ tonight. Dh spent ages this morning cleaning it for BBQ season (amazing how much dust accumulates in a few months!) so I said we would use it tonight. Don't want him to feel his efforts went unnoticed...

DD1 had Ravioli with napolitana sauce, DD2 had Spaghetti Bolognese, DS is having his usual
I have yet to decide, I have some lovely fresh salmon to bake or pork steaks but then by the time I get all three settled and asleep, a cup of coffee and a few slices of toast will probably be my fine dining experience tonight.

Dd1 had eggs on toast, dd2 and dd3 had cheese on toast, I had a veg frittata. Dessert was strawberries and blueberries.
Best part was no one argued over what I served them and all ate happily!

We had Greek pork stew with cous cous, and for dessert DD1 had vanilla icecream with chocolate topping, DH and DD2 had banana muffins that I baked this morning, and I had my all time favourite, melt some peanut butter in the microwave and then stir it through vanilla icecream. Nom!

Chicken and herb ravioli, with a cream, tomato, mushroom and bacon sauce. Was extra nice as I convinced DH to do the cooking

It was originally going to be creamy garlic prawns with veg and rice, but 2 hrs after he went shopping with DS, DH comes back moaning about the prawns being yuk and the deli lady not serving anyone (apparently he had a go at her about the huge line, but by the time he got served he forgot what he wanted!) and NO prawns. So we decided on fish and chips....then DH decides it HAS to be prawns so has gone out again....groan!

DS will eat the rice and veg and some fresh salmon....might even get ice cream for dessert if he eats enough

It's 'date night at home' after that, so dessert is a surprise....chocolate if I have any say, lol!
