    FB and Nikky! Too funny!

We have been buying but where we would normally get maybe 6-8 for a week, we have only been getting 3-4 and making it a treat. The kids love them and JJ would eat 3 in one sitting if he could. I used to mush one up every morning in their porridge which I haven't done since Yasi, and now they are just a snack. Looking forward to them coming down a bit more so we can go back to normal buying!

I haven't been buying them, but last week my friend bought us one each for a treat It was delicious, I can't wait for them to come down in price again but I am on a really strict budget so there is no way I can justify them atm.

we haven't really stopped - but i've been getting them at a local fruit & veg shop that has had them for between 5.99-7.99 per kg. i haven't made a banana cake in a very long time though & i'm looking forward to making one soon!

I never stopped buying them. I just made sure that they would get eaten and only gave them to DD1 when I knew she actually wanted one. DD2 loves them so much, she never let any go to waste.

we have kept buying them my boys aren't huge fruit eaters so probably 3-4 every fortnight as a firend once said take in mind how much you spend on take out coffees... or soft drink...never ending snacks but everyone complain about the price of bananas, having seen first hand the devastation from yasi I have no hesitation buying banansa
