I agree that I've hit the jackpot with ds2's teacher. I even commented on that when I said that I had been spoilt. I also have an older ds in grade 1, and he too has had 2 years of fantastic teachers that I've communicated well with. What I never said, is that the OP 'deserved' what had happened.
