I did Nice for the cherry ripe, and chocolate ripple for the orange and peppermint
Oh my goodness cannot stop eating!!! I was going to take a pic in the morning all nice but I cant stop pinching - neither can DP! DD is eyeing them off too but we're sneaking them past her lol. So good!!! Peppermint tomorrow :)
Lol at above comment! It wasn't until my third batch that they actually made it to being hampered up for gifts lol

Cherry Ripe Balls
Verdict on peppermint ones: DD thinks they are too minty. Yay no risk of pinching! DS hates coconut so win again lol. I love them. DP likes them better than cherry ripe. It was really sticky to mix so I added coconut to it - about 1/2 cup in the end. Yummo! Will try boost ones next, its my DP's fave bar :)
how long is there "use by" date do you think? if giving as gifts how far in advance could i make them?

I've had the FB inundation as well; was about to actually got looking for this thread so I could make them for my work secret Santa next week too ;)
Every time I go on FB, this pops up...hmm, they're calling to me ;) DH informed me the other day that he's making rum balls this year...little does he know he'll be making these instead!

I made these last year (cherry & mint) as we were hosting Christmas, but the first batch was gone the next day! Did them again and we basically just tried to pretend they weren't there. No need to make them this time but they're all over my fb too and I'm getting so tempted!

So....I finally made these today for the first time. They're awesome! DH and DD1 love them too!
I've just brought my cherry ripe bars so these are on my to make list ASAP :D
FYI - Cherry Ripes are half price at Coles atm ;)
