I was really looking forward to just having yoghurt this year, as we eat so much for lunch and dinner! But my SIL (she's a chef!!!!) and her family are coming to stay and arriving xmas eve so I'm doing a little brekkie....
Big fresh fruit platter, with all the summer yummies! And that yummy King Island yoghurt on the side.
Super good french toast -
You buy unsliced white loaves and cut them into 2inch slices. Cut each slice in half (to make rectangles) and make a pocket from the 'soft' side. Spread dijon mustard, and put good ham and gruyere cheese in the pockets. Soak in your usual (but savoury) french toast mixture and cook as per usual. Pop in the oven for 5 mins, just to help the cheese melt (also good if you're making lots to keep them warm).
It is soooo good! I really couldn't be bothered this year, but DH begged me!
Champange, juice and coffee etc as well. No bubbles for me this year though :frown: LOL
