Me too
All sounds yummy.
We've discovered that our bbq'd prawns won't actually be bbq'd, because mum (who was awesome and did all of the shopping) translated unspecified prawns on the shopping list as cooked prawns rather than green prawns. Oh well. They'll still be good. At least it wasn't like finding out one Christmas Eve that my supposedly turkey buffe was a whole turkey, and what the hell was I going to do with it and would it fit in the oven. Fortunately it did!
Normal brekkie.
Nibblies of dips and crackers, camenbert.
Lunch
Prawns, ham, crusty bread, salads and a lobster (Yum- haven't had lobster for ages) then pudding with brandy cream and custard.
Brekky is yoghurt and fruit salad (treat for the kids, they love yoghurt and Im too lazy to spoon feed them all everyday when they can feed themselves eggs on toast)
Lunch is at DFs mums so its a surprise
and afternoon tea/ dinner is at my nanas so again surprise
I completely get out of cooking yay!
No brekkie here for adults, we graze all day, DS had toast
lunch, ham, chicken , two different salads, prawns, antipasto platter, asparagus, baby corn, beetroot etc
Chocolate mousse with cherries for dessert !!, YUMMY and little pickled onions, I've already eaten a jar NOM NOM NOM
Dinner leftovers
Tomorrow, leftovers etc![]()
lunch was roast turkey with roast potatoes, sage onion and cranberry stuffing, pigs in blankets (chippolatas wrapped in bacon and roasted in the oven), broccoli and sprouts with a citrus butter, cranberry sauce and gravy. And it was delicious!
Dessert was home made trifle and later on we will have mince pies and cream.
Tomorrow we are having friends over so they are bringing some roast beef and I have made a creamy turkey and cranberry curry, which we will have with roast potatoes or rice (will make both) and veggies. Afterwards I have a Christmas pudding and brandy for setting it alight (love that tradition!) and cream. I am going to be so fat after this weekend![]()
Cold Ham, prawns & chooky! My famous potato salad with proscuitto & a green salad. Sparkling apple juice. Cherry Pav, Trifle - chocolate. Rumballs, white Christmas... Yummy!
