Traditional or non-traditional (or a bit of both?) All out, or casual and relaxed?
We're starting with bbq'd prawns in kaffir-lime and lemongrass with a ginger and mango mayo, followed by chargrilled butterflied lamb leg with a lemon zaatar crust, roast vegies (smashed potatoes, leek, beetroot, parsnip, pumpkin and baby carrot), red wine and roast garlic gravy, and green vegies (baby beans, sugar snap peas and asparagus). And for dessert we've got a mango flan and mince pies from our favourite patisserie.
Sun last week with DH family we did pork on bbq spit with roast potatoes, sweet potatoe, carrot, salad followed by cheescake.

My family never did tradition but DP is from the UK and they always had turkey so cooking a roast turkey. I'll be making spuds and veg for the side with a gravy. I was going to make sushi hand rolls and prawns for the side but being UTD screwed that theory. We are probably having a chilled day because only staying home. Almost forgot we're having Pav for dessert It's going to be 43 here so probably won't be eating too much.
Its only our ittle family for most of the day tomorrow (so me, DH, DD and DS) so it's not going to be a huge thing...
Breaky is at a friends house, She said we will be having croissants, bacon, eggs, champas and juice
Lunch we will probably be too full to eat, so just snacky things like crackers/dip, nuts and a fruit platter
Dinner will be a baked dinner with turkey, lots of potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potato, beans and cauliflower with homemade gravey, followed by a yummy trifle which I have been hanging out for for weeks!!!
We dont really do Xmas but my mum is doing a cold platter... Cold meats, cheeses, Turkish bread etc while we give DD her presents. It's apparently gonna be 38 here tomoro so I plan on lathering myself in sunscreen and spending all day in thier pool
Breaky will consist of pancakes, scramble egg, a BUG CUP OF COFFEE or 4
Lunch will be later in the day so HUGE..have decided to do chicken and turkey drumsticks with roast vegies, potoato and steamed cauliflower/brocolli.
