What is the purpose of your degree? Is there another route you can take to get where you're wanting to go? Can you transfer unis?

Have you explained to ex about your lawyer?

I am aiming for dietetics and the only offerings are Melbs or Ade and Melbs is in state so I go to a Melb uni. I can't take any other route for dietetics

Talked to ex about lawyer as well, he knows I am taking him to legal services commission.

Not sure if you're undergrad or postgrad and what point you're up to in your degree, but could you transfer to nutrition and study by distance? Charles Sturt Uni have undergrad by distance and Deakin offer postgrad by distance.

I know nutrition isn't the same as dietetics, but if it's the difference between studying and not studying, might be worth it?

Or maybe look at other distance study options? You could prob get credit for what you've done already in some courses.

I am currently studying distance but next semester I am required to be on campus for certain subjects, this is a nutritionist degree and I am hoping to follow with a masters in dietetics at Deakin. I have an appt with legal aid on Tuesday. My point is, my ex initially gave permission for me to leave if I settled for a minute amount of assets and my lawyer said he refused to sign that paper due to it being unfair. Now the assets have been chewed up by legal fees and my ex has revoked permission. I just don't see how my ex can take back permission. I really want to move to Melbs but in all fairness on visitation I am only asking to move halfway. I could care less at this stage about assets, he can keep the lot but I am offering him a fair amount of visitation with a similar amount to what he receives now but there is a 200km distance. It isn't like his family is involved with the kids when they are with me anyway, I have been shut out by the family and most of the towns people after all the stuff he has painted about my past. I used to have a circle of friends but now I am outcast from all but 3.
