Where do you live? Im on the sunshine coast too. I know how hard it is being so far from your family, mine all live in the UK.
Im sure its hard to reach out to people you dont know and it sounds like you feel you would just be a trouble to those who love you, you need support from the people around you. Thats what friendships are all about, im sure your friend would be sad to think that she wasnt there for you when you needed her!
