i didnt mean to
just so exhausted
feeling bit low and alone
left her father to get away from violence to protect her
stayed with my mother for extra supprt because i had gone back to full time study
she let my brother move in
who is exactly like our dad,, seriously messed up..and also violent
he broke two of ribs with a knife...been in a refuge for the last 3 months.
no contact with my mother anymore as she still is allowing my bro to stay there and use and abuse her and doesnt really seem to get why i am upset at her.
she was the only family i had...
just feel so fed up.. like i seriously cant take anymore.
guess thats why i am overreacting to this centrelink appointment
cause i feel like im gonna break from anything more put on me.
just want to get on and have a happy life// but it feels like the hardest thing in the world to do

it would be a periodical review - everyone on centrelink payments gets them - it's not an insinuation that you've done anything wrong - it's simply a routince check to make sure everything (value of your posserssions, bank acct details etc are all up to date. if yo u are living at a refuge, you likly wont have utilities bills so get a letter from the people running nit toconfirm that you are living ther
with regard to ftb/child support. if your dd's dads is violent, you may receive an exemption via the social nwork yeam, so that not claiming cs doesnt impact your payments. this has probably been doone already but it may not have been so check at appt, you may be able to get that done so that he and his potential to pay (een if he refuses) dont impact you
You apply through Centrelink, to see a social worker (you can call and request this first), and apply for an exemption to claim child support because of the risk of domestic violence.
If you do this your FTB won't be affected by you not claiming child suport.
