PAP - I think I'll keep checking my phone every morning, just in case!!

Rainy - well done on the grandpa purchase! Fingers crossed that Jimmy is OK (and the rest of you)

Leanne - enjoy the party, sounds like it will be heaps of fun

Clare - so sorry you missed out on the house, just have to keep thinking a bigger, better (and cheaper) one is around the corner (maybe a few corners!!)

Kate - well done on your BF journey. K stopped 3 weeks ago, I'm glad we went as long as we did, but I'm pleased it's finished now!

MM - glad you took M to day care today, I know K looks a bit put out if we turn up early! Did you have a good relaxing day?

Well K seems to have started saying lots more words in the last week. As well as mummy and daddy, we have had baby, puppy, boobie. All very exciting!! She's got a long way to go to be talking like Will though!!

Might have to try some crumpets. K has been really getting into the raisin toast lately - absolutely scoffs it down.

Time for me to go to bed! Hope everyone is doing well.

Thanks Renee for thinking of me! I am physically on the mend & I thought I was emotionally too, until I went to Karrinyup shops today with M & saw pregnant ladies everywhere & felt sad! Seems so silly as I was only 9 and a bit weeks iykwim? Ah well, we will try again in 3 months time. Maybe we can be pregnant together?

Cally - My M free day was yesterday & YES I loved it! I've never dropped her off at care before when I've been home so I was feeling guilty, but I needed a day of rest & tv. Cally thats great that K is really starting to spit out the words now, dont worry M is also wayyy off W's stage, he is a very talkative little boy by the sounds of it hehe.

Clare - Spewing about the house! I really hope things all fall into place very soon, I'm sure they will.

PAP I am getting beyond excited for you now....wow wonder what the sex is!????? Yayyyyyyyyyy!

We also had a couple of new words today, being 'hello' & 'apple'. Also M keeps lifting up my top to see my cuts, & says 'ouch'. Too cute.

SALES???!! have they started?!! omg omg omg omg..... *must go now* LOL!

MD: ahh, i think i am also starting to make quite a dent on here these days! gotta love it!

MM: i hope you watched Oprah and dr phil and a bad telly movie on your day off...always a sign of indulgence IMO. i also usually make a nice BIG PHAT milo and scoff it down while watching Oprah...te he he!

Cally: so impressive that you were able to b/f so long!

Renee: me too. i go bonkers without the internet. i dont remember life pre-internet LOL!

hmmm, as usual i have a blank about the other thread.

BUT....omg, i have found the most AMAZING pram. can't justify it though...called the Concord Carbon Neo....handcrafted (!) in germany, made from carbon and looks sooooo sexy it aint funny. i told DH that i am going to raid the bank and buy one if we dont get a house soon LOL! at $5000 a pop it would make a hefty dent LOL! the man is SCARED.

much better day today. Leila had a few issues last night as the dryness is making her thirsty, so we have a 2am call out for 'water!'. she isnt even really awake, but almost downs a whole sippy.

Clare, that is the single most ulgy pram I have ever seen LMAO!

Trill, I meant to say the other day that is a huge bummer that your dad picked his dogs over your family. I suspect that the same would happen to us if I offered mum an alternative so I don't know what to do. I imagine she would just politely point out we don't have to stay there. But we live 2 hours from there, if we didn't stay overnight then it would be too much to try to visit my great grandmother, grandfather, cousin and mum in one day, as well as trying to get though the shopping list we always have when we go to a real town. So I guess I will just leave it for now, I doubt we will get down much with the new bub anyway.

MD, there are lots of toy sales here too. We got the trampoline and a swing/slide set and I am going shopping in the weekend to buy a couple of birthday presents - a bigger wheelbarrow, imitation chainsaw, trainset. Not sure how many more times we will be going to a big town before baby comes/birthday time so stocking up now.

MM and Cally, so exciting when the words start - and once they get a few there is an amazing word explosion.

    PAP- ????????? Any news??????

    Hey Girls,

    How is everyone.

Well I made a cake last night for the boys daycare today as they dont go on Monday's and they helped me make it.... How wonderful having neally 4 year olds helping make cake...lol what a mess I had to clean up.... But it looks good and thats the main thing they were really excited telling everyone that they helped me make it. so cute.
Re the toy sales... I went just before and put some stuff on layby for xmas- livi getting a ride on trike, disney baby cot-bath and swing set (omg Livi loves playing with dolls) a piano and for the boys green machines, ben10 car I think that was all.

    better go

I was wondering where Rainy was too. Hope all is o.k.

Leanne, you are very brave to attempt baking with two 4 year olds!

William just made his first purchase!
I ducked into the shop to get some milk and was collecting up car change when DS said he wanted "two money please", so I gave him 30cents.
I got the milk and asked if he was ready to go, but he was looking very intently at all the candybars. Then he ran around the corner to where they have some el-cheapo kids toys and grabbed a few cars and said "William getting cars". Then I realised he wasn't just looking - he was shopping!
So I directed him over to something he could buy with his money - a lollypop - and he put it up on the counter and gave the lady the money. We walked out of the shop with him holding his prize lollypop saying "William buy something with money" and "William buy one lollypop". So adorable.

Hey Arte, have u been watching "being human"? Have been reading New Moon and thinking of you and Clare! LOL tho I must say I do think Bella would be a much better match with the werewolf BUT I suspect he might be dead sometime soon...? Naw don't tell me the ending! LOL at W's shopping experience!

Speaking of shopping, i am bitterly disappointed by the *ahem* "sales" offerings at BigDub and KMania! Layby'd one of those huge upsy daisy cushions but that's it really. Not much to write home about anyway.

Leanne - Oh you must be getting sooo excited now - nearly birthday boys! So cute with them helping with the cake Have a lovely day tmrw! BTW Woohoo on your bed bargain, go mr ebay!

purely selfish post from me today sorry, don't have much time online today (Dh mas flipping MAN FLU and has been moaning all day ) so this is more of an update than anything else.

Well the rest of us seem to be over the lurgy - Lindsay is back at school today and Paige and Alister seem almost back to normal. Poor Erin though, the last two mornings she has woken up with a croupy cough, but has been well enough to go to school cause I know the cough will be gone by 10 - it's only there first thing in the morning. Glad it's only 1 more week till the holidays though. Alister is such a funny little fella lately. He's discovered the word WHY? Lucky me hey? And he's also discovered the joy of watching the Umbilical Brothers on The Upside Down Show and is in hysterics watching them, so we've been watching them on youtube LOL. and his speech is really advancing too. Having to keep an eye on his articulation though as even though he speaks in sentences and has loads of words, he isn't always clear and easy to understand, so just watching for what is age related and what isn't. I will ask Paige's speechie at her appt on Tuesday. But I think he will be fine, its just once you have a child having therapy I suppose you are more aware of it now kwim? I had a look online at the big-dub and target catalogues and I'm not fussed on anything the have actually. Some of the book sets look OK at target though.

Take care everyone and I might be back on later lol.

*off to check online target catalogue*

Oh no, you've got me a bit worried about Rainy & J now with this horrible swine flu!? I hope all is ok, has she posted anywhere else on BB? I am so scared of this swine flu, I know everyone says its all hyped up but I worry!

As for PAP....hopefully today is the day!?

Trill - Ohhhh the man flu, hope that passes soon, what a nightmare. Are you a 'mean' wifey who banishes the hubby to the spare bed? Hehe I do! What does P go to a speechie for, did she have trouble when she was younger etc? Sorry dont mean to pry. I guess also having P see a speechie, you learn all the little tricks etc & what to look out for when it comes to A. I'm sure A will be fine with his talking, the few words that M has can also be very unclear at times, only we know what she's saying iykwim?

Clare - I cant find a pic of this pram!

Leemar - What an absolute bargain! Well done. It must be nice having a little girl playing with dolls etc, after having two boys. You get the best of both worlds really dont you? I saw Myer have cheap, cute little doll sets, like a dolls swing & bed etc atm, & SO CHEAP!

Arte - My gosh W is SO SMART! What a cutie, I couldnt stop smiling imagining him buying his lolly pop, he sounded like he was very proud of himself.

As for the toy sales, I havent even bothered yet, after reading peoples status updates on FB & seeing that people are venturing out at midnight to line up? What! I like my sleep too much. Besides I dont know if they do that here in sleepy slow Perth? I do have my eye on a trampoline this yr, probably for chrissy, so no doubt we will go put one on layby soon. Also I want to get M a water play table, she drives me nuts getting her water & tipping it into cups & bowls, so I figure it would make an awesome summer toy.
