noni- don't stress about it hun, at least you got onto it now.

katie-i'm just waiting to get the photos back from getting 'touched up'. i'm so excited! thinking of getting a couple of ones printed on canvas.

md- hope you're having some relaxation time and watching some bad reality tv. i think farmer wants a wife starts next monday- you like that one don't you?

trill- lewis was 92cm at last check too!

i went to the new 'babies r us' store today. total letdown- had the exact same stuff as the baby section of 'toys r us' basically.
has anyone checked out the absolutely massive trampoline they have in the target sale- it's $700 reduced to $400 and is huge!!! we're thinking of getting it for lewis' birthday.
no i can't believe jimmy is not a newborn...we're thinking of starting him in swimming lessons in 3 weeks. crazy huh?
    hi to everyone else xoxo

eta- oh i forgot to add- 2 people called jimmy a girl today! a lady in a shop said to me 'your daughter has such beautiful hair' and i said 'he's a boy' and she said 'oh he's so feminine and pretty looking' WTF!!!!

Rainy, well DD1 was constantly getting called a boy...even when she was dressed head to toe in pink! LOL Old ladies were the worst offenders. DD2 never had that problem...YAY for farmer wants a wife...I had no idea that was coming back on...have been watching firefly on an old recommendation of my BSG-buddy Arte. And I"m *completely updated* on the world according to Oprah PMSL.

Arte - yep, hair's holding up, find it all over the house but there's still plenty on my head - you wouldn't know by looking at me. No henna tatts this time round LOL! I am clear out of Haighs and don't have the income to support my habit right now LOL. Back on to plebby old cadbury, I have noticed they are skimping on their almonds of late...

Ah Noni, don't beat yourself up...mould grows really quickly, you'd be surprised it's prolly just sprung up over a couple of days. Make sure you sun the mattress & sheets out if you get a couple of sunny days. Also check that the roof/walls are not leaking, it could be there's a problem with dampness somewhere in the room that the landlord needs to do something about, kwim?

MD, are you enjoying Firefly? It is a goodie (as William would say lol). I can't buy Cadbury atm, I can't forgive them for repackaging and making the blocks so much smaller! I know there is a recession, but this is the only move that has actually affected me and I am not happy about it! Glad your hair is staying put. Do you have thick hair to begin with? I would lose all mine, it is fine and skimpy. I had bald patches on the sides after the post-baby hair loss.

Noni, don't feel bad, as MD said it can grow very quickly. I found an empty milo cup on W's bed about a week ago, then yesterday I was changing the sheets and realised that it had soaked through all his blankets (and it was stinky!). Poor kid has been sleeping in crusty old milk stain.

I have loads of hair (ie lots of hair very dense on my scalp) but it's very fine...which is good because I find it all over the house now (with my super-hairloss-sensitive eyesight LOL) but most other ppl including my family are largely oblivious to how much comes out cos it's not very visible. Except in the bathroom, I send DH in to vaccuum it all up for me. See I'm happy to forgive Cadbury for their resizing because the price has also gone down (at least at the shop I shop at) and I'm happy to have chocolate for under $3. Yep Firefly is a goodie, except a bit annoying cos DH has seen Serenity and keeps piping up with comments even tho he totally bagged the movie when he saw it (I suppose it didn't make as much sense if u didn't see Firefly first??). Have you seen Dollhouse?

ROFL Arte, that comment sure does make up for the last one!

Noni, don't worry about the mould - it's happened here too a couple of times and it has always grown within a day. It will stain the sheets though, so give it a good wash then hang on the line for a few days for the sun to bleach it.

Oz, don't worry about the FDC, I would do it too if I didn't have anyone to call on to look after the kids while stuff needed doing - it's just not possible to take them with you all the time not to mention being a whole lot more productive at home without them LOL.

G, how can someone possibly think he's a girl? He doens't look girly or feminine at all! He's just a boy with a hell of a lot of hair LOL.

PP, now you've set me a challenge I will have to change the dates on my trip too cause of Paige's school orientation day - it will only be to the next day though unless it finishes early enough and I can still leave on the Friday.

MD, nothin wrong with being a pleb and having to resort to ole' cadbury again. You should try some green and blacks too as they are quite cheap and taste sooo good.

not much happening today - catching up on washing as usual cause the weather has been dodgy. Alister hasn't been terribly well either - he's had super nasty nappies which look like they have a lot of mucous in them which I assume could be finally making it's way out after his cold and he jst swallowed what he was coughing up, but this morning he also vomited a bit too. He's been fine the rest of the day, but he actually had a 2hr sleep today and felt a bit hot when he woke up. I will just keep an eye on him I suppose.

Sorry girls been a bit slack lately, & also busy with work & home improvements.

Rainy - I am actually shocked that J is now 5 months old, where has the time gone? Yes I saw the target tramp on display, its massive & looks like heaps of fun, definately get it for L. He will love it. We are getting a tramp for chrissy for M. Funny you should mention Oobi, had a look at some of their stuff today, I want to buy her the pink marilyn dress for her birthday dress. Which is the best place to buy Oobi online? Also doesnt your DH notice the money coming outta the bank account, I cant get away with too much shopping as my Dh will see it on the statement lol. I have noticed that CR have some really good sales, they had some earlier this yr but I didnt see anything I wanted. Wish I could come for a shopping day with you!!

Noni - Dont beat yourself up!!! I am stalking your status updates on Fb waiting for some action.

Arte - I am constantly amazed at W's language skills!

Oz - When does L start at daycare or has he started? A week at home sounds great.

Trill - Hope A isnt getting sick.

MD - Re the putting away fetish, at least she isnt whipping things out left right & center making a huge mess of the house!

Clare - Sorry to hear about your Oma.

Kate - Glad to hear things are seeming to be back on track, I hope things continue to improve from here on. Dont be afraid to vent in here, we all have our go!

Hi to everyone I've missed, had a quick skim through your posts.

AFM - Been so busy this week, my weeks are now full on. Wednesday is practically my only day off during the week. Apart from that we have been laying flooring in our house & still have two rooms & the sanding/polishing to go.

I think we have hit terrible twos with M, she is an absolute nightmare in public lately. Also she is pushing & shoving other kids & doing the whiney 'nooooooo' at everything. Apart from that she is lots of fun and seems to be doing pretty ok with her language skills.

Went to the doc today for my post surgery check up. I was starting to feel sad waiting in the waiting room, with all the pregnant bellies. Here I was thinking I was over it all. Really had to control myself in front of my doc, she is so kind & understanding & you know how sometimes when people are so nice it makes you even sadder? Anyway made it through & everything is fine, I just have to go for a liver function test. I almost died when I asked her when to expect my period & she said around about now & could it be possible that I am pregnant now? I was so embarrassed as DH & I havent done ANYTHING since just before the surgery & he doesnt want to do anything at all. He says that he doesnt want to hurt me (I am not hurting anymore) & he doesnt want this to happen again. The doctors told us to wait 3 mths before trying again & his plan is to not do anything at all in this time to avoid it again. I dont know if this is just an excuse though, I kind of get the feeling that he is no longer interested in sex. Anyway enough rambling from me!!

just quickly cos i gotta go to playgroup,
hayley--big hugs honey. your dh sounds like a sweety,i really doubt he's off dtd, just more concerned for you and doesn't want tosee you hurt or in pain.
i bought my friend's dd the pink marilyn dress for her 1st b'day and she looked gorgeous! i buy most of my stuff online from cradle rock- i find them fantastic. other places online i like are ten little indians, shophouse, the kids store and the rocking horse. shop around a bit between these sites for oobi as they'll often have specials. if all the prices are the same and they've got my size then i always buy from cradle rock. the people at cradle rock are really helpful and quick delivery!
ummmm....well i hate to say it cos it sounds really bad but i usually blow my centrelink money on shopping. dh is ok with me having that as 'spending money'. things might have to tighten up a bit soon though when our baby bonus runs out! dad is also really generous with the boys and spends heaps of money on them-i just direct him towards the things i like! lol
i'd loooovveee to go shopping with you!

Hey ladies, thought i'd pop and say Hi.

When i don't have the time or inclination to reply to all of you personally i tend not to reply at all.

After being treated very poorly for a long time the straw finally broke the camels back and Glenn resigned. So we're looking around from a new venture. He's been offered three jobs in the local area, one in Dromana and one in SA. HE is also applying for one in PNG, but it's a pretty massive job and they've had alot of interest apparently, so not sure whether that will go anywhere.

Lu has been sick for 2 weeks now, a cold to begin with then a temp for 5 days straight, then a horrible cough which kept her up all night. She is on AB's for a chest infection and ventolin for the cough, so she slept last night. Wooohooo. Thanks for thinking of us on FB too ladies.

So i'm around, but busy, have to pack house again, can you believe it?? The next house will be the 4th in 4 months!

MM- We had a throw yourself on the floor tanty in safeway last week. Pretty embarrassing. i just walked away, she stopped soon enough but i couldn't wait to get out of there.

Clare- I'm so sorry about your Oma. It must be a really tough time for you.

Rainy....... boooohooo i want pics too! As soon as we're better i'm up for an outing. Very stir crazy atm.
