At this stage i havent had any discharge since lunchtime and the cramping has died down to more what i am used to -thank goodness !

I know that i will continue to drive myself insane with the toilet paper/panty liner checking - but thats very normal for me

Some of the symptoms have returned - sore (oYo), burping and now i have another one to add to my list - its WINDY in here tonight (this happened last time too)

Tomorrow is a new day !

It's very frustrating not being able to speak to my doctor! Her father is ill so she is off again and I don't know when she will be back and I have so many questions.

The doctors at the emergency room said they don't believe I will need an ultrasound as it looked as though everything had passed and I only need to worry about one if I have ongoing pain or extended bleeding. From what I know, a miscarriage this early (around 5 weeks), especially with very low HCG readings, is considered a chemical pregnancy. How soon after a chemical pregnancy can you start trying again? After the last miscarriage my doctor had me wait one cycle before I tried again but at 43 years one cycle makes a huge difference. I'm praying my doctor comes back again next week but I think it all depends on whether her family needs her.

    Morning all,
Sammy - I am so sorry, big big hugs!
Chickybabe - Hang in there, sounds fantastic the disharge & cramping has slowed down.

Hi to everyone else, hope youare all well and good luck yo anyone about to test!!

AFM - Been temping & OPK'ing since monday to see what my cycle is doing and all i want to do is try, but i know i cant!! Anyway my temp went up a bit today and i have some pains( i can always feel myself O, well before the miscarriage i could and i'm pretty sure i did last month although when i felt it, it meant my LP was a normal 14 days instead of my pre miscarriage 11 days, so who knows) but my OPK yesterday was neg so maybe my body is just warming up, i am only CD13, but if i O on CD14 i will be stoked as i always O'd on CD19-22 before. I am beginning to ramble so i will leave now and get some work done!!

    Havely a lovely day everyone!!

chickety-chick - that is great news. Looks like you're baking a tough little cookie!

Sammy - I'm with Tanya, I reckon you could probably try again when you're ready. I hope you are feeling OK.

Tanya - good idea to wait; how virtuous of you to have so much patience!

Sparkles - I really enjoyed your ramble! I hope you do O soon, I'm rootin for ya!

AFM - in the ambulance last night, they were taking my temp, started out at 35.5, they got it up to 35.8, but couldn't get it any higher and were freaking out. It is always low, my pre-O coverline is 36.09, so they weren't far off! Also, they wanted to do a urine test before x-rays to make sure I wasn't pg. Kind of comical, really. I was like "yeah, well if I am, then this hospital has kinda screwed up a bit"
So what happened was a hit a speed hump ("sleeping policeman" as the ambo kept calling it, haha) at a funny angle, forks twisted, wheel hit the kerb, threw me over the handlebars, landed on my left hand, chin and shoulder. Was knocked out for a little while, which is why they called the ambos. Who then spinal collar and boarded me. Miraculously nothing broken, bike fine, and the loaf of bread I had on the back was only a little bit squashed.
So, taking the day off today Having a good time. I feel OK, really, but the boss is coming over later, so might put on a Logie-winning performance, and push for another day...

snugglybean-=- thats gotta hurt! feel a bit bad that it made me chuckle tho Im glad your ok!

Chickybabe -=- sounds like youve got a lil sticky one there so hopeing bubs stays healthy and gets to meet you soon

Sammy -=- Im think that you can try straight after a chem preg.. mine was technically a chem preg but we were just so upset after ttc for so long and then losing bub, we had a break that ended up makeing it harder for us now to fall preg again..

AFM -=- I think AF is due tomorow and so far I havent had any cramping as such.. so im trying to get my hopes up again.. its so hard to do that when youve dont it so many times before

So today I'm down about material things.. sounds pathetic but i get that way sometimes..

Sometimes I feel like we'll never afford better.. Does anyone else ever get that way?
Like all the things I want to fix in the house I cant do because we're renting.. but at the same time theres no way in the world we could afford to buy our own place or rent one that has nice new looking unbroken look to it lol..

Im worried about how we're going to afford a car at all.. let alone one that isnt 20 yrs old and causing me more stress than its worth. then i worry bout insurance and rego.. and i mean, this is just to afford ONE car to get us from a to b..

I sometimes see all the nice things everyone else seems to just have no prblems.. Like two cars or buying there own house or 3 dogs house car and all the latest gadjets as such.. I dnt want all that, but sometimes it upsets me that everyone else has it all so easily and we struggle just for the basics and settle for bottom rank stuff..

The real estate told me that If I want white walls ill have to pay for a painter to do it myself (for someone elses house???!!!) They refuse to pay for it or even let me pay for the paint and do it myself.. Sigh.. They also wont put up a fence or fix the broken driveway that has all our leapord trees roots under it makeing it almost impossible to drive down.. They wont get the mould cleaned off the front verandah or fix the verandah (which is rotting its so old) and the paint on the outside of the house is barely even there anymore..

I love the house itself.. I love where it is right next to a school and with beautiful rainforest scenery on top of a hill with nice veiws of the suburb.. but the house and yard itself is so run down I get so depressed that we cant afford better sometimes..

I also figured out if I get a job when I get this car i dnt know if we can afford.. The child care fees for DS plus the fact that we'll be cut off Centrelink benefits means i will be paying to go to work.. So I cant even try to make a lil extra money..

Maybe AF is comeing.. I am acting very pessimistic today.
BTW Im not a bad speller, just a bad typer, incase anyone has noticed the massive spelling mistakes in my posts.

    Take care evryone

Hey everyone - don't mind laughing at me! I always laugh at myself, no matter what I think sometimes it comes across as inappropriate, but it's my coping mechanism. I hope it doesn't make anyone feel uncomfortable.
Even as I was going in to theatre for my d & c, they asked if I had any questions, and I said "Well, there is one thing..." and then looked dead serious and said "...when can I have an enormous gin and tonic?" And everyone had a giggle.

Hey Kyra, I'm sorry you're feeling down. You should style your house the way I do mine - entirely second handedly. You know it's getting extreme when you paint a brand new table to make it look old
We don't have a car. It's as much because we don't need it as anything.
We rent by choice. We might buy down the track, but for now it doesn't suit us.
A lot of people who "have it all" also have a lot of debt. Just embrace what you do have; enjoy it, and don't worry about other stuff. Be proud of how much you can do with not much.

When we got married, we asked for no presents. (only donations to charity) My mum's best friend couldn't understand this - when the sum total of our living room furniture was $100 at garage sales, home made and inherited stuff and a couch swapped for a six pack. Meanwhile, her nephew, who married at 40 and had a house full of everything new, had a registry for everything. he just wanted more.

Also, not buying new stuff is SO much better for the planet. Make do with what already exists, and it means far less toxic sludge being released onto the planet that YOUR children will have to grow up on. You're actually giving them a better start by not buying brand new.

I don't know, maybe it's just ramble. But please don't feel down about "stuff"

    Hi Girls,

Well RB arrived at 6am (Donor daddy was due here at 7am to do a test, talk about leave it till the last minute!)

I am totally heart broken, I don't know why it has hit me so hard this time but I'm devastated.

I have decided to take a break from BB for a month. I won't be able to try this cycle and feel it would be good for me to try and take my mind off the whole baby making business for a while. I might still pop by occasionally but won't be here daily like I have been. I just want to say thank you to all of you for being so wonderful, so caring and so supportive even though I don't have the result I want yet you have all helped to make things easier for me over the last few months and I cherish you all.

I want to wish you all heaps and heaps of and and I hope there are heaps of BFPs while I'm gone.

    Love you all.

    thanks snugglybean

I thik when it comes down to it, its not really stuff that gets me down.. Its really more like a status thing like.. I get afraid people will se my life and think "wow what a loser"

Thanks heaps tho yeh al our furniture is second hand too We found our coffee table on the side of the rd with a "you want it, take it" sign on it lol, I bought our tv off a neighbour for i think 60 bucks.. Mum gave me the tv stand, And we bought our table from DH's workmate who was getting a new one. all the other stuff is either from lifeline or garage sales..

The only thing we bought new was our couch, and DS has already proven how dumb that was by drawing on it in ballpoint pen. mind you Ive come to like it cuz its like I will have two yr old boo on my couch forever

The thing about the car is.. we really do kinda need it.. Our suburb isnt counrty but it is sortof spread out and its a long walk back from the shops loaded up with groceries and now DS wants to walk its even harder.

I feel heaps better tho.. And i usualy do.. I just sometimes get down a lil bit aboutit when i see everyone else getting so far ahead.. but ur right.. they never stop wanting more.

isnt it funny how one person can make you feel so much better thank god for this forum and all the loverly ladies in here

    Yeah

I was a BBer before the m/c - I don't know how other people do it. I just hopped straight on here and found everything I needed. I give BB full credit for my emotional health.

Hey, if you get the chance, read a book called "Affluenza" by Clive Hamilton. It's wordy, and hard slog on your brain, but it will change the way you think about "stuff" forever.

And, really, don't worry about what people think. Honestly, if they're worried about what stuff you have, THEY are the loser.

Kyrawolfe - I think a lot of the people out there that seem to have everything usually are very unhappy. (And have a huge amount of debt) You have family and love. Things are just things. They are replaceable. We live in a small 2 bedroom granny flat on my MIL's property (20mts from her house). Im sure people think we are losers for not moving into our own place once we got married. Everyone asked where we were going to live, were we going to build a new house? But we live rent free so why move til we have to.

Sunbeam - We will miss you while you take a break. Sorry a/f turned up for you and that you cant try this month. A break will probably be a good thing. You will return refreshed and happy and with a bfp!!

    Hi to everyone else!!
