Painful sex **ouch** TMI

For the past two months on and off, i have pain after DTD. It is a burning sensation, all the way in my va-jay-jay. It lasts for about 30 mins, and sometimes i end up tears because of it. DH feels bad about it, but i tell him its not his fault. The feeling is like as if my va-jay-jay was red raw peeled, and you put some stingy liquid on it and it BURNS like hell.

I have a mirena, so i don't know if this causes it??

It's not like i'm dry when we DTD or anything, so i really can't figure it out

Do you have any ideas as what it might be? I'm scared to DTD the sometimes, because of the pain.

OUCH!!! My only guess if you don't have thrush or an infection in there, would've been dryness.
Do you use a lube? I have a friend who was having problems like this after a surgery the doc said that even though she felt lubricated on the outside and down low in the vag she still could have been dry further up and closer to the cervix.
She used a lubricant that had an applicator you apply the lube right up there before DTD and she was fine. It corrected it's self after a while. The lube she used was called Pre~seed it's actually designed for TTC( I gave her some of my stash to try from when we wereTTC) but it also has the applicator and is designed to not run out straight away IYKWIM.

Thanks Willow. Can you buy it from the chemist or is it a specialty item from a certain store. I've never heard of it before.

It still hurts, 12 hours on.

Pre seed is very good for lubrication, I bought mine online at lullabye conceptions.

I was also thinking maybe thrush is the problem.

I ordered it of the net but it was probably 18 months ago or more and I couldn't find any stores that stocked it around town, there might be some now??

I didn't actually order through them but they list stockists on their site there might be someone near you you can get it.

I ordered it through Lullaby conceptions. Their site should come up if you google Pre~seed too.

totally. me thinks i need to see the gyno.

now i know why i always seem not to be able to relax when DTD and when i get a pap smear done. Last year, when i was due to have a pap smear, the dr. said that i needed to relax my muscles otherwise the clamp was going to pop out.

I'm not trying to make light of your problem, but the visual that comment has put in my head of the doc being smacked in the head by the clamp shooting out at him

But seriously I hope you get it sorted soon!
