Oh I remember them all too well. I had to remember not to stretch my legs in bed by pointing my toes coz they'd just cramp up. I had to stretch with my feet pointing up! LOL.

I think calcium & magnesium? are good for cramping.. or potassium? Banana's might be a good source. Or perhaps supplements. I found tho just remembering not to stretch my legs avoided it most of the time.

I remember these as well - gave DH the shock of his life quite a few times I jumped out of bed so quickly. I've heard bananas & magnesium as well, although didn't work for me, just another one of the joys of pg to cope with..

Yep I've had these, only very very VERY mild though and only if I stretch my legs and point my toes at the same time like someone else said and usually I can stop it before it actually turns into a cramp iykwim.
I'm currently taking CM Conception/Pregnancy/Breastfeeding Magnesium & Calcium tabs so they seem to be working, you have to get them from a naturapth though.

I actually had my first really bad one last night. I think stretching and keeping up fluids is the best you can do.

I had those with the girls. Just learnt not to stretch my legs out...hated that!
I have heard (myth busters, lol) that soda water every day can help...or was it tonic?

I have the same thing - well, I don't get them much anymore, but I did - I did some reading and starting taking a magnesium tablet before bed (I take Mega Magnesium, which you can just get from the pharmacy, and it has other stuff in there as well) and drink plenty of water - part of it can be dehydration, especially now that's it's starting to warm up
