I have over 60 songs on my home workout list, 40 on my gym cardio list, 28 on general gym, 15 on spin room. I like to do cardio to upbeat songs - not necessarily songs I'd listen to normally but so long as the beat and tempo are good, I can work with it I also include slower songs for warm up and cool down. I also stagger my list so that really good songs come on at the time I'm usually struggling. But I do change it around regularly because otherwise my mind and body know what's comming next!
I haven't got it yet but I heard it on the radio this morning and thought it would be a good one - and good for the self esteem too
Vanessa Amorosi - This is Who I AM.
I have a piece of software on my machine called Pacemaker Editor and it allows you to make playlists utilising bpm, which I find useful when making a mix playlist to exercise to, slower, fast, slow for warm-up, exercise, warm-down.
Ok, I'm updating my play list (yes again - gotta keep mixing it up!) but this time I'm struggling for music. Ideas? I'm also looking for some interval training stuff - looks like I might be getting a spin bike in the near future so I need some stuff for that
Sopdet - I just saw your post about pacemaker. What do you think of it 12 months down the track? Where did you get it from?
Ok, I'm off to see if I can make myself keel over in this disgusting Melb heat as I sweat it out in the park. Gotta lose the weight that has crept on whilst I've been on "heavily restricted exercise tasks" with my last relapse *wonders off muttering curse words under breath*
