Your fav songs to work out to?

I need some new songs for my ipod to listen to while I am on my cross trainer.

What are your fav upbeat songs to work out to. I need something good to help motivate me to be on the cross trainer for longer

    Thanks

    Kate

some new ones I've recently uploaded are:

Like it like that (Guy Sebastian)
Can you feel it (Michael Jackson)
RESPECT (can't recall artist but it is old)
    Turn me lose (Young Diva's)
I want to dance with somebody (young diva's)
    Highway to Hell (ACDC)
Long way to the top (ACDC)
Hands Up (from Ministry of Sound)
Baby give it up (Dance band)
    Rock this party (Bob sinclair)

I have over 60 songs on my home workout list, 40 on my gym cardio list, 28 on general gym, 15 on spin room. I like to do cardio to upbeat songs - not necessarily songs I'd listen to normally but so long as the beat and tempo are good, I can work with it I also include slower songs for warm up and cool down. I also stagger my list so that really good songs come on at the time I'm usually struggling. But I do change it around regularly because otherwise my mind and body know what's comming next!

I haven't got it yet but I heard it on the radio this morning and thought it would be a good one - and good for the self esteem too

    Anything Beyonce.

I think of how hot she is and always think to myself if I keep going at it and push really hard I may have a body like her. Hey a girl can only dream!

if you type in Les Mills (fitness programs) on Limewire or wherever you're downloading from you should find some upbeat songs there...

    I love MG's list too!

I have a piece of software on my machine called Pacemaker Editor and it allows you to make playlists utilising bpm, which I find useful when making a mix playlist to exercise to, slower, fast, slow for warm-up, exercise, warm-down.

Ok, I'm updating my play list (yes again - gotta keep mixing it up!) but this time I'm struggling for music. Ideas? I'm also looking for some interval training stuff - looks like I might be getting a spin bike in the near future so I need some stuff for that

Sopdet - I just saw your post about pacemaker. What do you think of it 12 months down the track? Where did you get it from?

Ok, I'm off to see if I can make myself keel over in this disgusting Melb heat as I sweat it out in the park. Gotta lose the weight that has crept on whilst I've been on "heavily restricted exercise tasks" with my last relapse *wonders off muttering curse words under breath*

    TIA!
