    Flowers in the Attic!

Wow, Big W have all the books for $4 each! I used to love them, I can't remember how many times I read them when I was younger!

I bought Flowers in the Attic and I think I should have bought the rest now...I can't remember them all, I think there was Seeds Of Yesterday, Petals on the Wind and If There Be Thorns...so dramatic lol!

    Can't remember the order though!

Wow, what a blast from the past!

I might have to pick them up and give them a re-read!! I first read Flowers in the Attic when I was about 12, I didn't really 'get' it, so I tried again when I was 17-18 and read the whole series.. and was like hahaha
    I love re-reading old novels!

    Flowers in the Attic!

I loved them too! I have them somewhere, I would probably understand them a lot more now. $4! I remember they were about $15 and I would have to save for each one.

Meeeee tooooo!! I never read them even when Virginia Andrews was all the rage, I don't want to know about kids being locked in the attic & incest. YUCKO!!

I read them too back in 1983 when I was 13 but I read anything back then and cant remember the details. It would probably disturb me more if i read them as an adult with children of my own though.

I read them and i had my own hard cover copies until a few years ago. My mum gave them to me to read also , i have no idea why because i was way too young and so much of it i never understood .

The movie scared the crap out of me! But I think i read the first 2 - 3 books and thought the story line to be quite repetitive (i think that was teh reason why i stopped reading them 12 yrs ago! LOL)

I loved them as well! I remember when I was in Year 8, my english teacher told me I wasnt allowed to read them during free time....guess they were a bit raunchy for her liking, being a catholic girls school and all

I loved them, yeah they were icky in many ways, but they were still books I couldn't put down. I think I was 14-15 when I read them and then the Heaven series, which was a lot better in terms of not as much incest LOL, but it wasn't just about the incest, it was the whole family dynamic situation and people being manipulative and all that.

I loved FITA series, was a bit weird, and heartbreaking, and then weird... but pretty cool read.

Garden of shadows made things make a lot of sense, kind of understood how prequels worked after that.

i have read alot of the books but considering only the first 4 were writen by virginia andrews and apparently there is some family truth in those books.. its a bit freaky
then to have another family member take over the writting and to take over the same style has me wondering how far spread those family issues go...
