sooo... three is worse than two......

ok so my lovely DS turned three almost 2 mths ago and seriously NO ONE warned me that this was going to be worse than the "terrible 2's" 2 has got nothing on 3 grr some times it feel like im beating my head against a brick wall...im trying not to give in and spoil him as much but it is sooo much easier just to say ok have what you want.....it really does my head in the mr independent thing and the not listening is getting really old...who knew my three yr old knew EVERYTHING!!! hahaha anyone else experience this.....i dont think him being a Gemini helps at all lol

Oh yeah! I thought we'd gotten of scott-free with the "terrible twos", but then DS1 turned 3 LOL! Apparently their testosterone levels increase which can cause some "issues". It does pass, I promise!!

Yep, we are having horrible 3's as well. My DD never went through terrible 2's at all and I though we wouldn't have that stage at all! Oh how things changed! I want to go back to the 2's...

My DS isn't 3 until next month but we are really quickly realising that 3 is a lot worse than 2.. You aren't alone.

Yup. 3's here are hell. And DD1 is just about to go into the terrible 2's. So I'll have the best of both worlds. Yay me.

Gosh I thought I was the only one battling through this with my DS and was feeling totally incompetent! He has so much attitude at the moment and we are battling over everything. It is becoming really unpleasant being at home and I'm having to use time out again and again. Any idea when we might see an improvement? I totally agree that 3 is worse than 3,...or maybe we have forgotten lol

Ha ha! Oh yes!!! I was just saying the other day that having a 3 year old is like having an abusive partner - they yell, hit, bite, call you names. You have to stay with them, and remain the calm mature adult. Sometimes I feel like screaming "well you are the bumhead!". But I know I will regret it later. LOL

Charlotte has been pretty good with the "terrible 2s" nonsense... But now she is a few months shy of 3 she is slowly getting worse - I can tell that 3 is going to be tough! lol
