    What to do with leftover lamb shanks?

    We had lamb shanks last night and ended up with 2 leftover. What the hell can I do with them? I saved some of the juices too.

    Reheat and have for dinner again!!

    Or make into pies

    Oh yeah, pies are a great idea! Look up a Guinness Pie.... Really delicious stuff! (And I hate Guinness)

    I would say Pie too or any type of pastry filling. I like to use the left over meat to make home made Kebabs.

    There aren't enough to just reheat.

    Shred and mix through risotto or make a pilaf. Make a nice lamb salad. Pasta... anything really. YUMMO!

    I'm having re-heated left over lamb shanks tonight too!!! There was one left over so mum & I bought a few more today to cook up & put in the left over sauce with the one left over shank mmmmmmmmmmmm

    I always make fritters with leftover meat.

    OMG! Yum! That's what my Mum used to do. I loved them when I was a child. I make corn fritters sometimes but I haven't had fritters with meat for about 20 years.
    How do you make your batter? Same as corn fritters?

    Um. i just chuck in flour, eggs, veg, meat etc... I don't have a recipe, I just like fried stuff.
