ill join you on that wait Kylz!

had my first "full" night sleep!!!!!!!!!!! kept her up for hours last night, from 8 till 10;30, then she would have 20 min naps and feed between them till 12, and i made her stay awake untill 1, she had one massive feed, chuck (only her seccond huge one, got daddy with the first one the other day ) then top-up feed and slept from 1:20 till 5 mins to 7!!! i am hoping, as cruel as it felt keeping her up, that it happens again!! (thats a full night for me as we usualy get to bed arround 12 or 2 then im up for the school run arround 7-8)
    fingers crossed!

Kylz, hehe if anyone would be kicked out its me hahahaha but i love you guys and don't want to leave.

I think my milk is disappearing again. I am weaning off the domperidone (sp?) and i think my milk supply is weaning off with it. Looked up ways to keep your supply full one of them is don't stress....are they serious? my milk is disappearing and they say don't stress, how can I not stress? And he has been really awful today I feel like he is unsettled because he's hungry because he has no milk....and that is how I continue to stress myself out. Sigh, will keep plodding along with it, hopefully this is part of his growth spurt and my boobs will catch up.

Kitty do you pump between feeds? Could be worth a try, it may stimulate extra milk and then you will see exactly what you are getting.

I don't know if I'm just being a nervous first time mum or if my little guy is sick...

In the last 24hrs he has suddenly gone from only having 2 pooey nappies during the night, to a pooey nappy after every single feed. I'm FF every 3hrs at the moment. It seems like he's pooping constantly! He's also drinking a little less (10ml generally) than he was. I said to mum earlier that if he didn't finish the bottle I was about to feed him I would take him to the doctors, but he finished it and the next one - and wanted more!! - and now he hasn't finished this latest one again. He doesn't have a temp (I've checked 3 times this evening lol), so I just don't know if this is normal behaviour or not

    Hey Ali,

I ff K. I noticed his bowel movements have changed from pretty much 4 a day to 1 every two days. I have read that it is normal. What does it look like? Not hard? If so then should be fine.
I write down all of K's feeds and volumes. He can vary from 20ml less to 10ml more. No stress though, should be good. I am feeding every four hours.. with the exception of one feed.
He is probably just trying to sort of what he wants and does not want....whilst making you worry... Males hey? xx

Omg I'm such a crap mum. After our BFing success last night I woke W at 3:30 for another try, no go.. Then he wouldn't take any ebm and cried and cried.
I realized this morning the teet wasn't flowing.

jaki: oh poor W. At least you worked out what was wrong. Thats not a crap mum, thats a great mum's detective work The first time we were trying to feed on a bottle he wasn't drinking it...then I found a thread blocking the teat!! Where the hell did the thread come from and how did it get perfectly in the teat like that I have no idea.

I did pump between feeds when I was trying to get milk stored for his bottle feeds with EBM but I stopped doing that about 2 weeks ago. I think I'm just worrying prematurely, I've never had the milk so gone that he is still hungry after a feed, its just this is the first time I have had to swap him to the other boob in a single feed and now my boobs just feel deflated all the time, hardly getting any let down feeling. Maybe my boobs just need to catch up with his new requirements. But with my sleep last night they did start feeling harder and more like normal so maybe they just needed a couple of hours to regenerate

Kylz: I have my formula and bottle ready to go today just in case I need it. Hopefully not but at least I know its there so I can stop stressing.

Ali: Chase poos usually about once a day. But then for a day and a half no poos....then came the giant poo blow out. So Hayden might have been stockpiling and now he is just letting it all out at the one time??

Had such a good night with Chase. He woke at 9pm, 2am and then 6am. i feel more rested than I have in a long time. Now if I could get him to sleep 9pm to 6am that would be excellent He is turning into such a little fatty. The sleeves on his 0000 shirts don't fit him because he has chubba bubba arms LOL
