    Ab Circle Pro?

I'm sure someone has brought this up before, but couldn't find anything.

Anyway, thought I'd mention the reviews I found, if anyone was interested.

Many said the knee pads were extremely painful and slippery (but wearing kneepads helps).
The center pin always comes out, which can be fixed by stickytape.
The red paint flecks off into powder everytime. Bit of a health hazard really.
To actually target your core, you have to consciously tense your tummy, and also, it's a lot harder to use than it looks.
    Some reported sore necks.

Most said it wasn't worth the money.

Anyway just thought I'd post this so it's there for anyone's reference!
I knew it was too good to be true.

I have just brought home the Ab King Pro. Didn't buy it, it's own loan from a friend who has shoved it under her bed. I know she has been looking at Big W's alternative to the Ab Circle Pro.

I could see why they mention the sore neck too.

Sit-ups/crunches. They're free and they work. They also hurt but that's because they're working.

I find you have to do so many sets of crunches to have good results. I get so bored of it.
What I liked about the ab pro was the intensity of the workout, making it harder but shorter amount of time for the set.

There are so many types of crunches. If you need to do lots of them try something else or use a weight plate.

Try this workout. YouTube - Abdominal Exercises for Boxers (part one)
    You'll find something that burns.

I wouldn't buy any of these gimicky machines, I could by a medicine ball and do some crunches, you'll feel "the burn"

My friend is a personal trainer and said a lot of people get injuries from using these sorts of equipment. Usually neck as has been mentioned. She also said that you actually dont burn as much 'fat'/tone as you would doing traditional exercises eg crunches. Using this equipment wont necessarily take from abs iykwim. The best she finds for abs is actually what they call the plank/bridge.

Ive never tried them though i just trust what she says though.

I have an Ab King Pro and absolutely love it. My tummy had the ridges after around a month of using it. That was before DD came along of course!

Looking at your av tells me that your DH is still using it.

bummer ! I was looking at buying one of these, but figured it looked too good to be true. Luckliy I had a caesarean, so it would have been a bit before I could buy one anyway. Now I won't bother. Thanks for the advice though.
