I'm looking to lose weight but have no self control when it comes to food or portion control.
I hardly eat breakfast, scoff lunch down and have a late dinner. Some snacks in between.
A friend told me tonight about rapid loss shakes. She said the chocolate ones are pretty tasty. Just wondering if anyone else has had any positive experiences with this plan. It's supposed to make you fuller for longer?

I havent personally, but a friend of mine said that she really didnt liek them, after all the hype they created she said its nothing more then all the other shakes and bars they are throwing around everywhere.. so i dont htink i would try them, but its all different effects on different people
ah ok, i just recently imported these tablets for my mum for weight lose and my coousin actually recommended them too..
Apparently they lost 2-3 in the first couple weeks.. and one girl went from 93 to 81 in 3 months..
Its actually all natural and you take that tablet plus another one that tightens you muscles or soemthing also..
My mum takes the wieght loss one in the morning and the other one at night, she complained if she took both she felt abit nausea's
I can PM you the name if you want?
I'm not 100% sure but they are apparently all natural like fruits extracts etc..
I'll send you the website and names once I get them again in the morning..
Ok I know of some natural things you can't take while on ads! So yeah let me know. I'm going to try the shakes out. Not going to put all my eggs in one basket though

i spoke to a nutritionist recently & she was telling me that alot of the shakes were originally designed to help people who needed operations shed a lot of weight quickly so they could have surgery. no idea if that's true but my own experience is that i felt horrible after only having one! i had one for breakfast & got the shakes driving to work & a big headache. those things are meant to go after a few days but i decided pretty much right away they weren't for me!
if you'd consider it, i'd try by making myself eat a decent breakfast - i reckon it's the best way to help cravings, feel full & get your day started right
Try making your own shakes, when I was loosing weight I used to make one up and have one for lunch I used no fat milk and threw in a heap of cut up fruit, I lost 8kg in 6 weeks, then xmas came and i went off the rails, now i am starting again
I hardly eat breakfast anyway. So having a shake for breakfast may actually do me good.
I usually have a late lunch and an even later dinner. So if I have a shake for breakfast at the minimum then it will most prob fill me up to avoid those sugary snacks that I've been having before and after lunch. I'd eat till I'm stuffed!

Not sure about the shakes but I find that exercise and coffee are both appetite suppressants for me. Helps me get through the day as I am pretty good at binge eating.
I don't know about the weight loss shakes but most protein based ones are good as a supplement when you're training rather than as an actual meal replacement.
Do you drink tea? I make a cuppa when I think I'm feeling hungry and that's usually enough to get me through. Drinking lots of water also helps. More often than not, we are actually thirsty not hungry.
Try and start the day with a good breakfast, it really does make a difference to your hunger and food choices throughout the day.
Eat like a king at breakfast, a commoner at lunch and a pauper at dinner
Its so chocolatey. So not as bad as those other shakes.
Thought I'd leave it in the freezer for a bit but nope it got all gluggy even leaving it for half hour. So might just scull the 200mls with chilled milk.
It seems to be ok. Only had a little bit and not as hungry today!
