    3 Day Diet. Anyone?

    Ok, so tomorrow I am starting the three day diet (you know the one from the net, with the tuna and specific qtys of things) three days on, 4 reasonable days off. A Fad diet, pure and simple, but compared to some (thinking of that drinking only lemonade for 10 days insane diet) not too bad. (No lectures please)

    I am 69kg and 167 tall. Have lost 5 kg post birth (and that was over a year ago now!, I'd lost all by 9 months with DD1 when I went and got UTD again) and haven't been able to budge off 69 despite my efforts.

    So, has anyone done this before? Or better yet, is doing this? How did you go?

    (Daily Instructions:
    Drink 4 glasses of water or diet soda per day. You may use herbs, salt, pepper, lemon, vinegar, Worcestershire, soy sauce, mustard and ketchup on your food.


    3 Day Diet
    Day One

    Breakfast:
    Black coffee or tea with Equal or Sweet & Low
    1/2 grapefruit or juice
    1 slice toast with 1 tablespoon peanut butter

    Lunch:
    1/2 cup of tuna
    1 slice toast
    Black coffee or tea with Equal or Sweet & Low

    Dinner:
    3 ounces of lean meat or chicken (any kind)
    1 cup green beans
    1 cup carrots
    1 apple
    1 cup regular vanilla ice cream

    3 Day Diet Day Two

    Breakfast:
    Black coffee or tea with Equal or Sweet & Low
    1 egg
    1/2 banana
    1 slice toast

    Lunch:
    1 cup cottage cheese or tuna
    8 regular saltine crackers

    Dinner:
    2 beef frankfurters
    1 cup broccoli or cabbage
    1/2 cup carrots
    1/2 banana
    1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream


    3 Day Diet Day Three

    Breakfast:
    Black coffee or tea with Equal or Sweet & Low
    5 regular saltine crackers
    1 oz. cheddar cheese
    1 apple

    Lunch:
    1 boiled egg
    1 slice toast
    Black coffee or tea with Equal or Sweet & Low

    Dinner:
    1 cup tuna
    1 cup carrots
    1 cup cauliflower
    1 cup melon
    1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream


    3 Day Diet Food Substitutions
    Food Substitute
    Grapefruit Oranges
    Cottage cheese Tuna
    Tuna Cottage Cheese
    Ice cream Frozen Yoghurt
    Broccoli Cauliflower, green beans
    Carrots Beets
    5 crackers Toast
    Cauliflower Broccoli, green beans

    Well, I know you said no judgement, which I am not you personally. But, I am questioning the cup of regular icecream (sooo much sugar) and the frankfurts (full of fat, additives and God knows what else junk). Otherwise most of the other stuff looks good. The cup of vegies is alot of vegies and there's no snacks so I would't cope on that.
    But good luck to you! Do you have to exercise? What's allowed on the off days?

    Hmm I'm not too sure about this one... Seems to have too many carbs and the icecream is just weird..

    I dropped 5kgs the first week with my nutritionist doing this:

    Breakfast - Protein Shake
    morning tea 10 almonds or half an apple
    lunch a tin of tuna/ salmon 95g or any protein max 100grams and unlimited low carb vegies or salad
    afternoon tea if I am hungry half an apple or handful of berries!
    Dinner is 80-100grams protein and 2 cups of low carb veg or salad
    Supper another protein shake

    Other option is 100g protein breakfast lunch and dinner and 80grams for snacks first three days then days 4 onwards add unlimited low carb veg/salad for lunch and 2 cups max for dinner. You can add condiments to the protein but only enough for taste and you can still have coffee or tea

    Aim for a minimum of 750mls of water a day also this will help with any fluid retention cause if not enough fluid is going in the body stores it rather than passing it!
