Is he a good baby..? And other comments that drive you mad....

I'm after the comments that drive you mad..... what is the #1 thing that sends you batty every time a stranger (or two thousand) decides to unleash on you?

    Is he a good baby?
    Is he a good sleeper?
Wow, she has a good set of lungs doesn't she.....?

*veins popping out of head already*

You must have your hands full.

    Are you still BF

Are you really BF both of them

You are making a rod for your own back

You must get him out of your bed

You must stop BF or you will be feeding him at school

    You have your hands full
    All done now?
Have you figured out what's causing it yet?
    Are they all yours?
You are too young for children (I'm 25 not 12)
Wow she's huge, obviously you feed her too much

What's wrong with his leg? (said while DS sported a cast as part of his treatment for his talipes)

Did you hurt his leg? (the alternative to the first one)

Is it a boy or a girl?

Are you finding out what the sex is?

(when answered yes to above) - Oh didn't you want a surprise?

(battling mastitis) - Oh that means its time to wean her!

You shouldn't cuddle her so much when she hurts herself.

Oh her hands are cold you need to put more clothes on her.

You'll get sick of cloth nappies after a week.

You are vaccinating her aren't you or are you one of THOSE mothers. (we do vax but have nothing against those that choose not to)

Is she up to date with her Vax isn't she ... said in undermining "you naughty child" tone (my mother seems to think its her right to know)

    Good baby?
How does he sleep?....Um, with his eyes closed
(From MIL at first sound of a cry) Oh is your mummy starving you? No you just tired him out you sill old woman!
Oh how nice you have once of each, you wont need to have any more then.
Oh how nice you have on of each, so it doesn't matter what you have next one.
Not a comment, but the act of people trying to stick their face in the hug-a-bub to see DS while he's sleeping.

So does your (DP) want to try for a boy?
(when answered No) Doesn't he feel outnumbered?

    "Are you breastfeeding?"
    "Does he sleep through yet?"
    "He's big isn't he?"
"He's got more hair than his Dad!" (DS has virtually no hair and neither does DP) - It was a funny comment at first but after the first 15 times it wasn't so cute anymore.
"Is he circumcised?" Not joking - some old lady who I didn't know came up to us when DS was 7 days old. She looked in the pram and then asked us that question. I was literally speechless for about 20 minutes after that one.
