    Michelle Bridges 12WBT, Round 1 2012

So last night, (on Christmas night!!) I signed up for the Michelle Bridges 12WBT for round 1, 2012. I've never done this before, contemplated it many times but have finally taken the plunge. I can't wait to be surrounded (virtually) by motivated like minded people all working towards the same goal... A fitter, healthier, better version of me.

Anyone else doing it? For those that have done it, do you have any advice? I'm pumped. Can't wait for ore season to start!

It sounds interesting. How does it work? I'd like to do something like that too

I am thinking of doing this again but probably wait until after my sisters wedding, which is on the 8th Jan. I did a round last year & lost about 11 kgs or so and that was without really following it strictly. The advice I'd give is do all the pre season tasks & plan, plan, plan

Awesome Rhichichi! You probably know but pre season starts on 16jan, round on 12 feb.

Sweetpeajan, it costs $200 or $20/wk for 12 weeks. I'm not best person to explain, but you get meal plans, shopping lists, live chats, workouts every week from Michelle Bridges. But apparently the access to forums and groups online is heaps motivating and supportive. Someone else who has done the program would be able to give better explanation. But the thing that got me to sign up was watching a couple of last rounds success videos.... Amazing transformations!

YES! I have signed up for my first round also. I signed up on the 23rd. The people on the forum are so inspirational... they are just normal people, and they have done what i am going to do! I need to loose 21kgs just to be in the healthy weight range- so I am doing this! Can't wait for preseason to start. I have already started a blog, and have been starting to build up a little fitness by doing some walks. I haven't done anything for years, so I am in a world of pain right now, but loving it! Was very good on xmas day because I know what i have coming. The more you read on there, the more of an idea you get of what to expect. Have joined a few of the facebook groups too in my area, and have just talked one of the mums from school into it.
My cousin lost 12kgs in her round, and has lost 8 more since and looks AMAZING!
Are you as excited as me Hunter mum? I can't wait to get going with it!

Congrats on signing up My Three Sons! I am super excited. Just ordered my heart rate monitor watch and I want it now! I hope they get it posted this afternoon and it arrives Tuesday (not likely I know). Are there many in your area doing it? I've found a few around here.

    Anyone else doing it?

I have joined the facebook group for our area, so looks like there is quite a few people around here. There are lots of group activities which I will get into once I get a bit of confidence. I have lost 2.6kgs since signing up, so can't wait to actually start the program and get flogged and see how much I lose then!
How is your watch? I love mine... so motivating. I am waiting on the DVDs hopefully they arrive today.

I've joined. I did round 3 2011 and lost 27.5kgs between day 1 of preseason and the final weigh in. LOVE LOVE LOVE this program! Whilst I've still got alot more to lose, I KNOW I can do it. Would highly recommend this to anyone!!

As of today I've lost 30kgs since I started this program. Can't wait to see if I can hit the 50kgs lost by the end of round 1

What an achievement Niadalla! I'm sure you can hit the 50 if you've had the dedication to come this far already. I'm aiming for 5kg. Although because I've only got a smaller amount to go I'm not sure. I know muscle weighs more so I'm more focused on loosing the left over flab and toning some area and hopefully get rid of cellulite (as much as possible anyway).

How are you all going ladies? I know that the round hasn't officially started yet (and thank GOODNESS, because I've been a NAUGHTY girl!), but the preseason tasks are usually pretty eye opening and inspiring.

Niadalla, I too have been a bit naughty. I haven't completed this weeks tasks. I shall do them over the weekend. Im just not consistent enough yet.

Hi Ladies, I have joined this round after doing a round last year & lost about 10 kgs on it. I have sort of started - tracking my food and trying to stay at 1200cals. Been a little tough but I lost 1.4 kgs since last week and hope to have similar success. Exercise has been helping me to stay focussed plus the fact that we are starting IVF next month, so trying to get as much weight off as possible and eating very well to help with the IVF. Even though I have done the pre season tasks before, I have still found them a little hard (more the excuses and goals) but I know that preseason definately helps with being successful once the program kicks off.

HI all! I know this is an old thread - just wondering if the meals on this plan work for kids as well?? Are they reasonably priced meals that can be adapted for a whole family? Im scared I will join up and end up having to cook separately for myself and then kids and DH?

I consider it to be pretty reasonably priced and from what others have said, their children eat the meals.
Most of the meals are either made in 2 or 4 serves. My husband eats what I cook every night without complaints (he loves the food!).

Have a look at a crunchtime cookbook if you can and see what you think.
My daughter and I absolutely LOVE the mushroom risotto on the plan.

    Hi Tanstar,

I cook alot of the meals from MB12WBT such as the Penang Chicken Curry, Rissotto, Lasagna, Prawn Pad Thai, Pizzas etc... and my DD eats them. Some recipes are not suitable for her or I know she won't eat it so I just modify a recipe or serve up one that she will eat. I have definatley saved money whilst doing the program b/c I cut out alot of the extra stuff I was eating and portion sizes are smaller than what I was eating.

Like Niadalla said, look at the cookbook b/c that will give you a good idea of the type of foods/recipes she promotes.

    GL
