Ok I'll get things rolling !
Eli is doing great! Feeding every couple of hours but night time he spaces out to 3 or 4 which is awesome :-) after a week at home the mcn came out on tue and he is back to his birth weight after only loosing 180gms so I'm very happy!
Im feeling good in general but I've only been to the toilet twice for a poo as it is hurting me still...tmi I know!! I didn't have any stitches or tearing so it's bugging me that it hurts but I guess all those muscles are stretched a lot often three births!!
My other two love him and adore him, smothered with kisses all the time, it's lovely :-)
How is everyone else going? Please come join me I'm feeling kinda lonely hanging out in here by myself!
Hi loops and glad your around to chat to, might just be us hanging out on here!

Congratulations Teirae on the birth of your little girl! Well done and I hope you're enjoying lots of cuddles with her.
I've just stumbled onto this thread, still posting in the Due May group.

We're going well at home, it's already been a month. Olivia is starting to stack on the weight (something that i struggled to do with DS1 and DS2), however, there's something in my diet which really sets her off. I've dropped dairy and chocolate, which has made a big difference (in a positive way for her, it just sucks for me).

Having a lazy Sunday at home today. There's such a big difference between being in p.js by choice vs being in p.j's b/c you can't get organised/showered etc before midday with a new baby. Our two boys adore her and the eldest just dotes on her, which is lovely to watch.
Hopefully, we get some more people to jump onto this thread.

Teirae I'm hearing you on the big boobs...almost too big for poor Eli's head....lol... We have our health nurse app on wed so will be nice to see how much weight gain we have, he feels heavier :-)
Three graces it's hard to believe Olivia is a month old already!! This rest of the year is going to fly by isn't it!! Staying in your pjs sounds like me atm or at least till around 10am everyday till I can get organised!
Is everyone else feeding pretty much every 2 hours during the day? Feels like I'm always sitting down!!

Hi guys, my little girl (Chloe) is now 3wks old. She is going great feeding heaps, sleeping well....Mummy is super tired all the time but am getting enough sleep....just want to have some continuous sleep again at some point....

My boobs are huge too....cant believe they were a b-c cup less than 12mths ago...now they are pushing an e cup.... so much bigger than Chloe's head.

Leesha, I'm still having trouble with the toilet thing too and its been 3wks. I got hemorrhoids when I had Chloe and have just got rid of them 3wks later....but I am in pain every time I go still and they keep coming back....If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have even known I had a baby cause I was feeling so good!

Well I went and did the grocery shop today on my own with the two kids. Toddler in the trolley and baby in the hug a bub.....it was all good until it came to empty the trolley which was hard with bubs strapped to my front and the toddler wasn't helping much by snatching the groceries and refusing to hand them over......but we managed. Love the hug a bub but it did get loose a little bit towards the end but bub did sleep most of the shopping trip.....

Hey girls just found this thread. Dont get much chance to post as sophie doesnt like to sleep instead prefers to feed for literally hrs on end & poo lots. Mchn today as i scored high on the pnd test & need to redo it but hoping to have some questions answered as well, no baby needs to feed for 6hrs solid, not when theres a huge oversupply & shes already stacking on geaps of weight.
Yep huge boobs here too, g cup these days as the ff's i bought wont clip up.
Anyway will try to keep up with u all as much as possible

Yeah but I was sitting in bed at the time with Chloe on pillows on my lap...so once I caught it I still couldnt do anything about it so it ended up all over me anyhow
It is funny how quickly you get over all these things and just laugh them off!

    Hey everyone!
How is everyone going? we had a terrible night the other night, was hell and I really didn't think we would survive =( got NO sleep, and like 2 hours during the day. DH came home from work at like 430 and I just turned into a bubbling mess and handed him DD and said can we please tag =( I had a shower and just cried my little heart out. It was just pure exhaustion, I was just so tired.
Since then though things have been great, I'm getting some sleep at night!! yay! and we are starting to work out things, like best ways to do stuff. It also looks like we are making it 3 hours between feeds! (FX I'm not jinxing myself!!)
MACH came and saw us the other day too. She has given me some good advice on a few things, and some crap advice on other things. She doesn't seem like a very fun lady either...too serious. and I'm not sure what she thinks of our 'alternative' ways. eg.. cloth nappies, hasnt had the birth immunisation. she didn't say anything, and remained professional and all that, but I could tell maybe she would do things alot different. not that it matters, we are doing it our way cause it works for us.
we are also braving the outside world today... I wasn't keen on taking her out till she was atleast 2 weeks old. but we have to go to the supermarket, so we are going to brave it. atleast DH will be with us, and worse comes to worse, me and her can wait in the car while he runs in. We are just waiting for her to wake up so i can sort her out before we go. Im a wee bit scared =P.

Leesha ~ lol, what a good little boy you have hehe how cute!

Hang in there Teirae - sounds like you're doing a great job. I totally remember having DS1 who was a reflux baby and I cried most days in the start from exhaustion. DH has had his share of babies handballed his way, the minute he walks in the door from work And loads of phone calls during the day, demanding ot know when he'll be getting home.
And to think that I used to wonder what stay at home parents did all day! Ha ha ha.

As for the MCHN - just do what you think is right for your bub and don't worry about what she may or may not be thinking. It's so hard in the early days to find your groove and get to know your baby and what works/doesn't work etc.

Teirae sounds like that cry in the shower is just what you needed! Sometimes it helps to make things seem better ;-) glad your dh is supportive, it helps to be able to hand them over for a bit of a break!
As for mch nurses I have been lucky and mine is just lovely and it's nice to have had the same one with all three kids :-) you def have to pick and choose what you want them to know and take their advice, sometimes its good ;-) doesn't always work for everybody so you need to tweak it to best suit you :-)
All good here with little guy putting on 380gms in a week! It's ds1 birthday today and he is turning four! Somehow in the chaos I managed to make cupcakes, hedgehog and a birthday cake! Can't believe my little guy is four already :-( they really do grow too fast!! Better go as everyone is coming over for afternoon tea!!
